Loved those Trucks Duel was my favorite you had the car from Duel but not the Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit that film started my love for cars and trucks 😍😍😍😍

My first wife was kin to Claude Akins (aka Sonny Pruitt and Sheriff Elroy P Lobo). My first ever trip to Milwaukee: trading card inside my cat scale ticket was a replica of BJ and the Bear truck. I personally seen a S. Pruitt replica in Elkton, MD Flying J (Movin’ On Trucking Co.). And my first trip in a truck going to TX: that morning I passed a Coors truck on the shoulder, within three hours of that I saw a replica of Smokey and the Bandit truck going the opposite direction. I take all that to mean I was BORN for this, lol. Not to mention most of my hot wheels were trucks. Lastly, I came across a video on TH-cam of Greg Evigan promoting Truckers Against Trafficking. I was certified that night. BJ McKay himself got me to become a certified Trucker Against Trafficking. I was also given the nickname “The Bandit” by friends over 30 years ago, lol.

As a trucker who also grew up watching those trucks on tv and movies, have I ever got a story to tell you! Lol

HOW, did Hollywood miss making an action movie version of Moving On around 1995, with Bruce Willis and James Spader???

Mego toys had a trucker toyline CB McCall, that was pretty cool.

The Duel tanker truck and red Plymouth Valiant sedan cameo in 2004's hilariously bad movie Torque....

the orignal smokey and the bandit simi trailer was painted with water colors so they could was it and resale it it would have brung more money if they used real paint

They should remake Movin On and Then Came Bronson. Two shows from my childhood that I loved, about every day Americans. We need a show that celebrates the decency of most Americans again. And leave politics out of the show please. Escape from the nasty reality of today’s Hollywood.

OK, it was a nightmare, but it's all over now! That b*****d turned around and came back! How can he go so fast? Duel was a classic even here in the UK. It wasn't just the truck but the scenery blew me away too! I can drive any forking thing around! Another quote from a classic movie Smokey and the bandit with perhaps the coolest cop in film sheriff buford T justice? How is it they can't make movies like this anymore?

Too bad these are reproductions of the trucks rubver duck tryck frame too long the bj truck might be the only original from what i understand the bj truck was a loaner ftom a company i forgot the name of the moven on truck though i think was destroyed or stripped out for parts

It's awesome that the BJ and The Bear Kenworth which was based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the show actually lives in Wsconsin. It and the Movin' On Kenworth live not far from my sister's house in Sparta. (I like that the Movin' On truck is rocking Wisconsin collector plates!)

As a kid i had heaps of truck posters on my wall,all american was my fav,and im an aussie,my old man cringed at the thought that i might grow up to be a trucker,but i became a sparky,a stroke of luck i did my apprenticeship at a sign company installing shell and bp signs around nsw Australia, had the best of both worlds,maybe not a kenworth,but i drove a split shift izuzu,with a unic crane for lifting,some of the best years of my life,and the best part was,the boss paid for the lot

Its a crap movie, but that ridiculous 2004 Torque movie (Fast & Furious on sport motorcycles) had a Duel Plymouth Valiant and Semi Truck cameo in its desert scene. LOL

If Hollywood did not screwed around so much, Bruce Willis would have made an awesome Sonny Pruitt around 2005 in a Moving On movie.......

I was born in 1975, but I remember seeing a model of the green semi from Moving On, but had no idea it was from a TV series until the internet. Also remember at Woolsworth, the red semi diecast BJ and the Bear and silver Smokey and the Bandit II semi diecast toys. I was only five, in 1980 so I did not know the tv series until the internet, or movies until late night 1990s cable TV after work. LOL

It's a beast for sure, just love that Cummins V8 diesel, with it's 5x2 transmission, plus it's a Ford for sure, with that GT40 door locking mechanism?!

I made the 1/24 model of the RD Mack back in the late 70s. Convoy is the one film I have seen the most times actually in the cinema. I am attempting to 3d print HO scale models of the Mack and the Duel Peterbilt. It's a work in progress... I'm in the UK btw. I'm trying to find a HO model of the Golden Eagle bus from The Gauntlet. That will almost complete my movie vehicle collection.

Me Dad went specially from Moenchengladbach in Western Germany to Venlo in the Netherlands to purchase the AMT Kenworth model for me. The metallic dark green overall paint job matched by the lighter green coloured arrow pattern was a real eye-opener.

Wow....., yeah even we here in Europe remember these iconic trucks! What wonderful beasts these trucks were and still have so much character. Thanks for saving, restoring and presenting these fantastic machines to the global audience of enthusiasts.
