FIRST TIME IN AN ICE CAMP/ FISHING IN MINNESOTA
What was that clamp you are using to mount your osmo6 to your boat? Couldn’t hear you clearly
Sorry people were being so rude to you in the comments man, I think it’s a pretty neat attachment lol
I have one of these and it is so awesome. One person has a bad experience and tells everyone to stay away. I would recommend this skiff to anyone. I can spot a chronic complainer from a mile away. Going out and fishing and getting too hot the watercraft you're on has nothing to do with that. Its your responsibility to take care of yourself and make sure you don't overheat. Lol note has nothing to do with that.
Had them for about a month now. They're fantastic! Driven through two storms and on fire-lines/trails in the Smoky Mountains. They've been great! Nokian wasn't kidding when they said low rolling resistance. My truck just glides now. I haven't got in the snow yet, so I can't comment on that. I've been very impressed thus far.
Weight rating for the roof rack?
@@irishdirtbiker only 150lbs bc it’s a no drill rack
Thank you for that review
What would you buy instead? Blowup and hardshell?
@@PartnerProAlliance lookup Neptvnboats, they will ship to the US. That’s what I would get if I had to choose something next!
@@andrewlongron I was actually just looking at the 400 Pro, reseller Eco Fishing Shop.
@ oh snap, I didn’t even know that you could get em state side now and with affirm too. That’s not a bad price!
What did they charge you for the 8 inch brackets? I have the 5 inch currently and have been thinking of upgrading.
@@EverythingOutdoorsAndJeeps I got lucky since I was sponsored by them at the time and worked a deal with them to get me the 8” brackets and I sent the 5” back. Best thing to do is find someone with the 8” and see if they will swap you. You can still try messaging them though. They still handle 100% of their customer service so they may work with you!
Why does MAKO expect customers to STAND UP for 10 hours a day and fish? Where's the FRONT DECK and REAR DECK SEATS??????
@@flippindocks8183 well there really isn’t that much room on the 15’!
I just picked one up for $70 on rebate. i can see that you're using it in a proper climate :)
@@sinepari9160 yeah I have never felt cold like that before lol
Thanks for posting this.. I have a 2019 that developed this problem. It was intermittent for a couple of months but now its full fail. I will try this fix. Cheers!
A few minutes to set-up and pack-up a hard shell rooftop tent is no hassle at all.
Can you remove the seats without removing the seatbelts? My goal is to remove these when I’m going on trips with my wife and our two dogs (just want the dogs to have some extra space - spoiled), but I would like to be able to put them back in. I’d rather not have to deal with wiring and seatbelts each time.
@@russsakacs7765 you can do a platform in front of the seats like I originally had so the entire back seat turns into a somewhat flat space but in order to remove the rear seats you have to remove the seat belt bolts
@@andrewlongron I appreciate you replying, and replying so quickly! This might be a dumb question, but could I unbolt the seatbelts just to remove the seats and then pop the bolt back in afterwards? I think my biggest reservation is dealing with the wires.
@@russsakacs7765 and then I reply two weeks later lol. You can with some of the bolts but the ones attached to the seat belt are like molded into them, so it would be really weird to have them just hanging there. The wires are easy since they just quick release. I would honestly just go with the platform method. I’m actually about to sell mine since I’m re doing my setup.
This guy can't catch a break. lol
@@Tony-xc5sk you have no idea 🤣🤣
sorry if i didnt notice the following , did you actually remove your gorpo battery ? so the gopro is mainly working directly on the power bank right ? if that's the case I'm definitely using this method since I will be going fishing in dubai ! 100+fahrenheit
@@eliosaleh9492 yes remove the GoPro battery, the battery heats up and when running on direct power you don’t need it. But to be honest the heat will eventually get to it. I would suggest using an external mic and hooking up a fan to help keep the GoPro cool if you can
@@andrewlongron thank you for the fast reply! Cheers 🍻
What was the problem with wiring the provided power cable to your panel and how did you navigate around the issue? I am having problems with the fuse blowing when i turn the power on to the WeBoost.
I’ve got a 2018 Gen 2 raptor. Think this will fit that I would assume all the super crew cabs are same measuremnets/size??
I feel like he complains a lot at restaurants. This is what butt hurt looks like. One of the complaints is that water got in the boat? Wow lol
God bless you bro, working on a 22 and replacing the roof and this was a Godsend, never done these before
That's a concentric style ground/ neutral annoying to work with sometimes. Old service wire from transormers to houses have that
Work on audio same with me my audio sucks
Just bought myself a set. Stoked. Great video thank you 👍🏻
@@skyybluu3118 I need to do an update video but they are still proving themselves! But them prices are definitely going up!
I bought 245x70x16 for my 98' Tacoma 2.7l 4 banger. Small ish yes but I didn't want to heavy and I'm stock height also. Bought thy truck with 235x75x15 so glad to get those off soon. I only paid $396 on eBay for the set of Nokians. So cheap I got new wheels to match the new tires, can't friggin wait!
You must be a lonely cat if that’s all the space you need 😅
Ha ! Just purchase a different brand. GoPros are well known for overheating. They are very good otherwise
Just bought a Pro skiff 16. Looking forward to taking it out
I think I saw your truck parked down green creek road, outside Bridgeport CA, on the 395. Haha
is it stable your go rhino roof platform?
@@johnli4572 it is very stable but it only has a 150 weight rating!
@@andrewlongron thank you for the response, im planning to put 2 95L roam case, but i think its not gonna work
I appreciate you posting this video. I saw a bote is selling these for over half off on their website right now. I was tempted, but now I understand why. thank you for your review and looking out for the consumer 👍
That was a good laugh, thank you! Cool idea for the mod.
Great video. I had this antenna installed on my 4Runner and didn't do jack. Now moving it over to my F-150. Good to know about the 8-foot separation. Customer service, indeed has been awesome. Can you show me where the hole is under the seat you ran the wire in from the outside to the cabin @andrewlongron?
Do you think it could comfortably hold four to six trolling rods (lighter setup, for fresh water/lakes)? Just worried if the reel size with line counter would be limiting factor, how well they could fit in there.
Would have been great to actually see the tires in the frame and the overlays from the internet
I just bought the same one, electric motor is 30lbs lighter than the 46 pound motor. I prefer 40lbs of battery anyhow. Get a 5 chamber Isle 12’6 if you want to load up 150lbs.
Excellent video, thank you
I’m going to install the red control box under front passenger seat for more ventilation. Thank you for the video.
@andrewlongron does the promo code LONGHORN still valid this time?
Not all heroes wear capes, I had been looking at a Bote Lono Aero Inflatable Kayak and couldn't find much independent info on it. At the price point it was worth looking into at the very least
Wrong!
What happened?
Or fiddle with the radio, heater/AC, navigational devices, etc?
Why is it not okay to look at one's phone but okay to deal with kids in backseat fighting n yelling?
this is a solid question lol
Yeah or just don’t look at your phone
in 2024? thats not possible if you drive for more than an hour per day and run a business
Hey yo I love your videos
Thank you!
I don't care about Joe TH-cam channel
Or just don’t look at your phone at all
in 2024 thats impossibile if you drive for more than an hour per day and run a business.
@@andrewlongron then I guess in 2024 your odds of dying are a lot higher
Lol thats funny 😂
We've had ours for 3 years. we have a mercury 6HP on it or the 30lb Minkota trolling motor. Knock on wood it has been solid! We fish Bass on lakes and she has been solid. Our son has used it with 2 of his friends to lake fish. 1 on the bow, 1 in the cockpit, and 1 behind the trolling motor. 100% spot on in the staining. Blood will stain it. We garage store it, and if it's outside, it's always under a tree and not in direct sunlight. come winter, semi deflated and stored inside. Would love for Bote to have multiple mounting sites for the sand spear, as it will pivot depending on wind.
Very nice 👍 I plan on fly fishing this area this month or next 😊
good luck! lol
