Even though i've been using Medibang Paint pro for a couple weeks, turns out i was not exactly uhhh.... using all the resources it had to offer. i'll likely make good use of the many layer tricks it has to offer (if i don't forget to draw in the correct ones lol)

35:41 right on the money the tips are easy to pick up for me so far, the tip with having a "space for a 3rd eye" actually helped me space out most of my stuff on the face I appreciate the subtle teachings of anatomy cause i dont wanna study human anatomy for hours, so hearing for example "The ear starts at the top of the eye and ends at the bottom of the nose" Is a lot more digestable than going in depth

this video helped a good bit for me, i was always obsessed with getting the overall frame and form set up as soon as i started but starting with stick dudes for poses has helped alot! being able to take a step back and not think about how its going to look in the end is actually pretty encouraging ngl even got to fill out the form on the sitting example you gave, eventually i might be able to do a pose with a bow as well

alright so you say the coat of security because its a bunch of squares but how far can a square be tapered before it becomes uneasy and looks more like a triangle? like to me the coat looks like a overall triangle shape with some squares with in but is that just a personal design choice. I guess more clearly how much can we deform one of the shapes before it starts to feel like another and communicates when the other shape could as well. example : the coat of security to me looks like a triangle making this character seem a bit more either sinister?
