A throwback to the Camino primitivo that I completed in may of this year. The Camino primitivo is a 320km pilgrimage starting in Oviedo and ending in Santiago de Compostela mostly going through rural towns and villages in northern Spain. I absolutely fell in love with the area and I cannot wait to get back there.

I hadn’t been out for a hike for a while so after strong winds and heavy rains the previous day I decided to head out and go somewhere new. I wasn’t disappointed this whole area is stunningly beautiful and I will definitely be coming back to explore more trails and maybe camp out for a night.

A 13.5 km looped hike summiting Galtybeg, Galtymore, and Cush mountains.
