Good to see you in good spirits. My mri shows the same thing. I was told it was scarring, and maybe some cancer cells. Doctor wasn't sure. But it looks the same as my last mri, so no change which is a good thing. Hope that helps you with yours. God bless you, fellow glio warrior.😀

My girl is on a group that help support each other, that are caretakers for individuals such as us. It seems to have helped her. My mri is on the 30th. Looking forward for a nother good scan

it's not the VA. Its billing to specialty clinics. I know one vet that lost his sight and 3 appointments were cancelled. Check Tri West. The Vets will really get screwed now.

May I suggest you papaya to increase your platelets and blood cells? My mom has been eating the fruit and she went from 50 to 200! You have nothing to lose and papaya is cheap!

Were you on temadar? Avastin is usually given, when they can't do a recection. It starves the tumor of blood.

We are not a chore. We are in need at times, but definitely not a chore.

I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. Both of you are under so much stress. My dad had glioblastoma for a year. It was so rough on both mom and dad. I pray you don’t stay down for long. Sending prayers for you both.

If you can. Some walking, or mild exercise will help you with your blood work. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family brother.

I put myself on a non prossesed food diet. No proosed sugars or carbs. I think it kept my platelets good. I ate samon, steak, chicken, eggs, and whole grain toast. Basically whole foods. Vest of luck to you. I've been fighting it now for 20 months.

Hi David- sorry you are having some minor setbacks. I've read about lots of people on the forums having the same issue causing them the need to take a pause. Keep your chin up! If I recall correctly, Vitamin B12 and B9 can help increase your platelet count. You can Google foods that are high in those vitamins or maybe even try some vitamin supplements and see if that might help boost up your platelets. Keep on keeping on!

You are looking and sounding good David! I admire how you don't let a down day keep you down and you always bounce back. That is being a true cancer warrior. You are on the home stretch. Just visualize and think about how great you are going to feel when you get to ring that bell on the last day! And don't forget a shout out to the brown cow that knows how. :)

If you’re using Keppra get doctors to get you Vimpat. It cost a little more, but changed my life. My emotional recovery was slow because of Keppra. I stayed depressed, but Vimpat me deal with my emotions. Hang in there and keep your head up.
