Hello when you said you had a problem with the auto choke what does it do. I have a 1981 Honda express that’s kills me until I get it started I’m wondering if the auto choke is the problem after watching your video ?

Love the stained wood grain look of these drums. These drums sound great I’m the higher tuning range. I would love to own a USA made kit. Vintage or brand new either or is fine with me.

11:41 Gorgeous! I've had a 78 NC50 Since I was a little Kid as well. I was Today's Years Old when I learned they eventually changed over to Kick Start - Brilliant! (Although I've never had any mechanical issues with the Compression Start Ordeal. Because *HONDA* ) I'm happy to do without that "Auto-Choke" though. I actually bought an 80 or 81 from a kid who assumed the engine was seized as he didn't understand it wasn't a kick start. Then years later, I had forgot you needed a battery hooked up to complete the circuit & sold it to someone else for a rather absurd price (in my favor) who put a battery in it & it started right up so all parties were satisfied. LOL

Gretsch Catalina Club: The Workhorse of Bop drumming!!! The reason I say that is because at any given time, there is no other drum set out there that is used for playing Jazz as much as the Catalina Club. I mean other Bop kits are used for Jazz playing too, and there is a bunch out there by all the drum manufacturers, and there great drums. However, when playing Swing Jazz: practice, rehearsal, live gigs, and studio work, it's the Catalina Club that gets used the most.

Great number and great playing. The tuning and cymbals really work well.

*Someone would have to PAY ME just to haul that 'POS Urban' away...there's just no way in hell I'd pay $$$ for that 'bottomless money pit'* ( *Eventually you reach a 'point of no return' on a restoration, or even just to have a 'runner' to play around with, and I see a hellalotta dollars waving ''bye-bye' with that 'Urban Express' not to mention mucho hours of work and frustration!* ) *I LOVE MOPEDS...even if they don't like me!* ( *At 230lbs. I'm WAAAAAAY too heavy for a 'mope'* ) ( *I bought an '08 'Metropolitan' in 'immaculate condition' 4.5-years ago for $1150 and never regretted a dime of it...it rides like a 'baby Cadillac on 2-wheels' and repairs like brake-pads and new clutch & variator-rollers were no big deal to replace myself and I'm no 'mechanic' at all* ) *Engine/exhaust are factory, but carb. has been 'up-jetted' 2-sizes and performance reusable air-filter & 10/40 full synthetic oil...does 41 at top-end w/my fat ass on it...plus a shorty wind-screen that was an 'automatic permanent boost' of 1mph. and no more 'chest slam' from wind*

*"Loves Labours Lost" over a machine that can never love you back* ( *I'm the same way* ) *My 08 Honda 'Metropolitan' is my sole means of transport other than the local bus service which is actually very good...they pick you up at your house and take you to specific locations in their operating area* *I love my little Honda...the most reliable machine I've ever owned in 50-years of riding and driving* *If it's properly maintained and not abused, the Honda will last a lifetime, especially if it's kept inside from weather and the humidity can't get at it to slowly destroy electrics and metal* ( *Even at 'wide-open throttle' the mirrors look like they are standing still!* ) *True enough that 42-mph is 'top-end' and can be frustrating...even with performance mods that can't be seen or heard except for the 'shorty' wind-screen...it's still a pleasure to ride along at a steady pace and 'Zen' for awhile on seldom-used back-roads* ) *It's amazing how much in groceries I can haul...the Honda doesn't notice it at all and I've never lost anything in almost 5-years now of grocery hauling* *I LOVE 'Mopeds'...but they don't 'like' me at all because 230lbs. is far more than they can cope with and 2-strokers vibration gets on my nerves quickly along with the noise 'blanking-out' everything else around me*
