I have watched numerous video tutorials on binding over the past year. I’ve tried all the different methods taught, yet I am not happy with the way my binding turns out. Your tutorial made perfect sense to me. I believe your teaching style matches my learning style. The result is a perfect binding. My arthritis has made it so that I can no longer hand stitch my binding. Your explanation & demonstration on machine binding is a life saver! Thank you so much for a wonderful tutorial Colette! I've been entertaining the idea of purchasing one of these and found this video very helpful in moving me along my thought process. Very well executed however, I couldn't help but notice the decal on the door behind the presenter that said "smile", and I don't believe she smiled once through the video 🤔, a smile goes a long way, just saying.

I wish someone would demonstrate using a domestic machine, one with a much smaller throat. I have a PS500 and it only has an 8.5" throat. I realize I'm probably only going to be able to about a 4" row on this machine, but a new machine is not in the budget at the moment.

Great tip!!! I rarely use pins but I never thought to hold my hand and fabric perpendicular to part that is being stitches.
