Doing A Replay
I put them in a trashbag with oven cleaner then scrub and rinse
Most women in the household has to clean the toilets and I am no exception. I have seen dirty toilets. UGHH.
Great video
Wow. That’s a lot of trouble. I just buy a new. 🤣
Far too much work use a lakeland tray to soak whole wracks in and scrub with wire wool no need for plastic bags or towels
Thanks for your sharing Ma'am!❤
Pail not pale
Pale?
I gotta try that recipe too! Thank you!
Nice work. I'll try. Scrubbing is painful now. Hopefully this will reduce scrubbing.
I read or heard recently that if you leave your oven racks lying out on the wet grass overnight,, that they will be very easily cleaned the next day, I haven’t tried it yet though
PAIL
WASTE OF TIME I HAVE A MUCH QUICKER WAY
Just soak them in hot water with a dishwasher tablet added.
I lay mine on newspaper in the sun. Spray with oven cleaner. Come back in an hour and wash off with hose. Works great.
Two and a half hours of scrubbing?? No, thanks.....
My no scrubbing method, take them outside, lay them on a green trash bag, spray with oven cleaner, wait half an hour, spray with the garden hose, removes all the baked on gunk.
Agree. Works every time. Waste of time and effort doing what she’s doing.
I will try this!
I wanted to do that. I can't though because I live in an apartment.😓 And I heard that even if the oven cleaner says you can use it on racks, that it can destroy them. Has anyone else heard this? Has anyone had any problems? I will probably soak mine in a plastic bin. I will do it in the bath tub, less mess.
Forget it…buy a desktop convection oven…it will change your life.
My oven is 20 years old never clean the racks today is not looking good either😂
This is the EASY way? I'd hate to see the HARD way! Better to buy a cooked chicken in the first place and not get you oven dirty at all!
Or cover the chicken while its cooking. Wonder if she heats food uncovered in her microwave too? 🧐🤢
not sure I understand this: if the racks are hot, and you place them in the garbage bag after getting them out of the oven, how does the garbage bag not melt once the racks are in them?
those were my first thoughts. lol AND she has a large sink, I have double.
pail not pale
I put mine in a black garbage bag and spray both sides with Easy Off oven cleaner in a trigger spray outside. Put a twist tie on the bag and bring inside and lay flat overnight. Next morning just have to wash them off.
Too time consuming 👎🏻
a quicker and less complicated way is to just scrub them in your sink , using hot water and a degreaser like Mr. Clean.
really, thank you for showing this option. nicely done! however for me there is way too many steps involved and WAY too much time involved. I'll keep looking for a much simpler option. best of luck to you! regards,
Haven’t you heard of easy off spray ?spray the rack in your oven and you oven ! You rinse the racks and wipe off your oven ! Not so much work 😏
Absolutely! However, beware that the use of heavy chemicals in your home is harmful to humans, pets and the environment. Specially if you are planing to use your oven anytime afterwards, it would be like seasoning your food with a tiny bit of such spray. Would you eat it? Cheers!
I bought a plastic tray that is larger than the oven racks and I put the liquid in the tray and then put the racks in the water and leave them to soak for about three hours. This makes it a lot easier and without the fiddly job of putting the racks in a garbage bag, there is no need to use litchen towels either..
Where did you buy the tray?
@@Dickyricky69I see you didn’t get an answer, so I’m trying to help. Try Home Depot. My hubby just came home with one.
Pail
Although you don’t need many supplies this job seems very tedious and combersome
This a square bowl, not a pail. Notice the way pail is spelt, not pale.
Spelt?🥴
Well, we all knew what she meant, lol. My mom always called it a dish pan. Not sure why exactly? 🤷
great idea , i just put baking soda and vinegar to the oven,. i will try this tomorrow. thank you😊
*pail 🤣🤣🤣
Bathtube way easier, just sayin
Spray them with oven cleaner then put them in garbge bag overnight.
Thank you they came out really good, my solution is using an air fryer, there so easer to clean. This way my oven stays clean. 😉
Don’t forget the toaster oven 😊
Easiest way that i found years ago. I place racks in a heavy duty garbage bag. Pour 1-2 cups ammonia in and close the bag tightly.I leave the bag outside overnight. The next day hose down the racks. Then I go over lightly with an sos pad. Hose off again and dry. They come out great and NO SCRUBBING!
You wouldn't be able to do that in the winter. But it does sound like a great idea
Doesn't work for those of us in apartments, either. 😛
@@janicegilbert4029 I live in an apartment as well, I do the same thing and simply place the bags in the tub overnight, just ask your family first to be sure everyone won’t need the tub until the next morning. Since the racks are in the bag and not touching the tub I find that more sanitary. Then I remove the racks, hold them up and rinse them with hot water from the shower (I use gloves so I can use the hottest water possible) hopefully this works for other families like mine who do not have a backyard☺️
Me too. If you leave the bag in the sun, it works too.
Theres got to be less complicated ways , lots of messing around
If the racks are hot, how come it doesn't melt the trash bag (even with the towels inside?)

Pale? What paleface? Pail would be right!😂🤣😂😂🤣
I just tried this today and it is amazing! I soaked both towels in the hot water with the oxy and I also included a dishwasher soap tablet, my racks were really really bad hadn't cleaned them in 6 years so I thought a little extra punch couldn't hurt. I only let them soak for about a half hour while I washed a couple of windows. Then I pulled them out 1 at a time. I didn't even need to Scrub. The baked on grease and food just wiped off with my scrubby sponge. Just remember to put your gloves on. Whatever is in either the oxy or the dishwasher soap won't come off my hands, but my rings have never been cleaner. She says 2.5 hours but honestly even counting my half hour soaking time It didn't take me a full hour start to finish. I have never been so happy to clean my oven racks! Thank you!!!!!
WHAT A DIRTY PERSON NOT CLEANING YOUR OVEN FOR 6 YEARS SHAME ON YOU
Scrubbing with steel wool pads for over forty five minutes per rack may be simple, but it surely is not easy. And at the end you still had baked on crud at the wire joints as well as elsewhere. No dear, this method is certainly not professional. Imagine someone paying you 2 1/2 hours wages to play around with three oven racks.
👌
Pale! Should be pail or bowl!
Thanks for sharing!
Works but a lot of effort. Self clean oven works but removes the shine from racks…
I agree!
It not only removes the shine but it will ruin the bearings that the racks slide in and out. Wait until you have to buy new racks. YIKES
