Kaw Lake Oklahoma Crappie 1-15-2025
2 Day trip to Kaw Lake Oklahoma, only recorded some action from the 1st day, ended up catching around 100 fish total. The Crappie just are not that big from what I experienced, most were 10"-12" and a couple 13", on day 2 I did catch a 14" and several in the 12"-13" range. This video is of a few of the Crappie from day 1, it was cold and windy, but still better than being at work!!
Kaw is a 90 minute drive for me from Wichita, but was well worth it.
All fish were returned to the water, this was just for fun catching fish trip.

Started the Thanksgiving morning off 24°F, it was windy and cold! Ended the Day catching 104 White Bass and Wipers, this is a short video of some of the action. Swing 'Em in Bait Battle Shad was the lure of choice.

Had a great day hammering on White Bass and mostly small Wipers. Caught around 150 or so for the day, just so much fun!!

The Bite was slow, but was able to land a nice Walleye, I kept in the live well for a few hours, then let it go after I wasn't able to land another one, I didn't want to clean just one.

Had a few hours after work to go catch a few Wipers, wasn't great, but was fun. Was able to get a few on Top Water which is so much fun!!
