I'm running compounds so with that extra pressure sounds like I might have to run a catch can

@@jdksynthetics thanks man! I run Delo in both truck. But I also use Hot Shots as well in fuel and oil.

@@everydaydiesel I'd be happy to show ya AMSOIL's diesel RACE oil if you're interested. Our oils have great additive packages, requiring no additional additives in the oil.

@@alanbagel2204 yeah unfortunately in order to be epa compliant, the bypass kit for egr equipped trucks has to go around. Fleece can’t offer a bypass kit for emissions trucks that would be used in a deleted application.

Perfect size for towing and daily driving. It’s not an aggressive size. Don’t know egts but I can tell you they are fine. It’s a stock fuel truck. As long as you use the right gear, egts shouldn’t be an issue.

It calibrates itself. It’s much stronger and smoother. Will outlast an oem unit by far. Doesn’t require a dealer to recalibrate

@@austinscher6759 no it’s not a nessessary item. And when you change your valve cover you can’t use it anyway. So you just vent your cc to atmosphere.

@ gotcha sorry for the stupid questions I’m just not savvy with the diesels yet. Thank you for your help. So would I need the meat breather in the left side of the engine for the crank case if I’m doing a new valve cover. Also what happens to the hose you said was a pain to get out. Just remove it completely

@@austinscher6759 you cap two drain back ports with caps that are supplied with the valve cover. I believe I say this in the video.

@@disfordiesel8219 weight has been a primary source of speed for me with this truck. I ran 7.70 with small injectors and a small turbo just by cutting 1200 pounds off the truck from stock weight.

@@CivilianAF.1483 it’s common knowledge that intake horns will do nothing for performance. It’s purely for looks. However the grid heater delete is well worth it. And it’s definitely flowing more air. Which isn’t a bad thing.

@@everydaydiesel thanks for the reply. Do you know if I can just cut the grid heater out and reuse the factory plenum cover? It's a work truck, not a showpiece. I was thinking about drilling and tapping the killer bolt hole and plugging that off.

@@CivilianAF.1483 you can. Just be careful of how and where you cut. Make sure nothing loose gets left behind. Use new gaskets. Make sure you seal the bolt hole left from removing the bad bolt. Or just buy the delete plate and run your stock intake horn. Can save money that way.

@@lt.bigchungus8092 there’s a way to change the wires to make the running lights amber if you want. The harness I didn’t install was just a harness that makes the running lights on all the time. Instead of coming on automatically at dusk or manually in the cab.

@@RollinShop this comment makes no sense. It literally spooled to 30psi from idle in 4-5 seconds. And once it got there and I held it for a moment, it was virtually smoke free. I don’t understand why people comment about things they know nothing about. 🤣🤣
