Fit mounting rod to motor Set up wiring at switch controller if required Install fan wiring as per the product manual Mount the fan unit Attach fan blades to the motor unit Attach the led unit

How not to install a ceiling fan 🤦♂️
The trick is to move the mounting bracket as close to where the cables exit the ceiling as possible without them fouling on the remote sensor when it’s in place. This can be very problematic depending on whether a joist is handy to fix to or whether you’ve had to fix a noggin between joists to fix to. Also crucial that the cables exiting the ceiling are on the opposite side of the bracket to the side into which the remote sensor slides. This can be a nightmare. The reason I’m here is because it just took me FOUR HOURS to REPLACE an old fan! 😩
what a hack you could have mounted the fan shroud to cover the wiring, if that was my house, i wouldn't pay until the wiring was covered up and the fan mounted correctly. It's guys like you who give sparkies a bad name with shit installs
