      Personally never used them myself, but can be a good way to help you move from a heel to mid foot strike. We had a client who was using this and he liked them. One thing we did work on was starting with shorter runs in these and building yourself up into the longer ones. Keep us updated and let us know how you get on with these shoes!

    I do clap a lot while running, but it doesn't feel heavy for me. I can make it less loud when I go through heel strike (but that feels worse) or when running faster pace (not sure what helps there and what I do differently), but not when sprinting tired, then it becomes even worse (as I learned by watching video from finish of last 10k race, while I land mostly mid-foot, my toes were pretty high until the last moment, slapping the ground upon landing). So in my experience the easy pace claps a lot for me because I land flat mid-foot hitting ground at the same time with huge area, so lot of air gets compressed maybe? It feels good to me, I'm trying to further move landing back as I think I'm still slightly ahead of body centre of gravity and my cadence went down a bit with age and pause in running, but both feel like they need slight tuning, not huge change.

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Interesting breakdown! For reducing that clap, couple of things spring to mind: - Focus on pulling your foot off the ground quicker, almost like you're lifting it instead of pushing off - Focus on run posture, looking straight ahead most of the time These two things can help reduce the surface area hitting the ground and might help smooth out that slap, especially when you're tired. What shoes do you run in out of interest?

    • @ped7g
      @ped7g 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@BeUnstoppabl I have all kind of neutral Mizuno models (usually 1-2 years behind current to buy in sale) Rider, Kizuna, Revolt, Sky, for XC Mujin and for races I used almost exclusively Cursoris (low drop "minimalistic" mizuno from ~2013, they stopped to produce these but I have still one pair with lower mileage designated for races) and newly bought Duel2. So most of my shoes are with medium-big cushion for neutral landing except the racing shoes which are toward minimal cushion and lower weight. And one cross vibram five finger - worn out almost completely now. The mizuno models tend to endure 300-500km with decent rebound, then they start to feel a bit squished but also perfectly fit for my feet at that stage (500-900km), then some of them start to tear, some models hold on, 900+ the sole may start to feel disbalanced - depends on the wear, I have now pretty level wear on soles. And they start to feel really smashed providing like 50% of original cushion, so I tend to use those for shorter runs only until they feel still good or some hole starts to open, usually retiring them around 1100km, with my first Cursoris going for 1729km :D - and sole still felt quite good but the soft mesh top was torn apart too much). ;)

      @BeUnstoppabl หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@adrianomiranda5522 If you are doing a tempo run for 10ks try doing somewhere between 20-40 minutes. If you're new to tempo runs start at 20 minutes and gradually increase your distance 5-10% each week having a deload in your training every 4 weeks. Intensity-wise, try going off at a pace where you can only say a couple of words at a time. Then from here if you have a fitness watch you can start to get a bit more granular and look at the pace/km you're running at, and set targets. Hope this helps. 👍

    I use track-run acticity all the time and I feel like which GPS mode you use doesnt really matter much. Garmin knows the location of the track and just locks you into to the lane you select. In your video, you scroll past, but don't mention the lane setting (you have it set to lane 1) Playing around I have discovered you can actually change lanes mid run and it will show up on your gps track I think track run is the only activity type that doesnt give you the "true gps track" but rather one amended my Garmin to align with the track, Its interesting that garmin don't let you do this on other types of navigation course top tip, if you want to look really fast you can select lane 8 and actually run in lane 1, you get a free 53m recorded every time you run a lap

    How much should I decrease my running with a deload? Lets say I ran 2.6km on a monday and 4.5km on the thursday and wanted to deload the next week. how much should I deload?

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl หลายเดือนก่อน

      Try starting with 20% reduction, so 2.6km > 2.08km and 4.5km > 3.6km. Then from there once you've done one week of this, reflect on whether you felt this was the right amount to reduce by depending on how recovered you felt. If you felt after this deload week that you needed to reduce further try 30% and see how that goes. You'll probably find that you don't need to deload by more than 50%, but its a case of testing the right amount to reduce by for you. Hopefully that makes sense, let us know how the deload goes, and if there's anything else we can help with, let us know!

    • @Storm-tactical
      @Storm-tactical หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BeUnstoppabl thanks for replying! I will try that. If the deload felt good do I redo the week before the deload and progress from there?

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl หลายเดือนก่อน

      You could try that, my thought process when you deload is this: 3 weeks of hard training 1 week deload... So if you were to repeat the week before your deload into your next training block this could be too big of a jump running the risk of injury as this was your hardest week of training. Perhaps try re-starting your training week a week before your hardest one then progressing from there. E.G. for how this would work... Training block 1: Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 (Deload) Training block 2: Week 5 (Similar to week 2) Week 6 (Similar to week 3) Week 7 Week 8 (Deload) You could spread the deloads out further than every 4 weeks, but this what works for us and our clients! Hope that helps.

    But what if i have allergic rhinitis? Which makes it harder n takes longer time for me to inhale oxygen from my nose? In the middle of the run, i run out of oxygen and cant get enough by inhaling from my nose ill automatically switch to breathing f3om mouth. Is there any solution for it? It may sound gross but, whenever i breath in from my nose my snot gets sucked into my thorat which blocks my respiratory system too

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea sure try some of the following: Nasal strips: I have these as broke nose twice, this can help to get more oxygen into your body. Have you thought about antihistamines before running too? It's ok to mouth breathe if you are really struggling too. Do you warm up properly before each run too?

    Fix 1: “run” barefoot; your shoes make no sense.

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I see your point, and the research does show that running barefoot is a good thing, I would say for most runners doing this is a tough ask especially when you look at what you have to avoid on roads now (glass etc)

      @@BeUnstoppabl I run in barefoot shoes but try to stay away from concrete as much as possible. Your recommended style is a must with "barefoot" - that is why I like it. Efficient - safe - healthy. But I am not an elite runner for max performance. :)

    Just wondering why you are recommending taking vitamin k1 instead of k2?

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends what the goal is! K1 good for preventing excessive bleeding, and maintaining proper blood clotting function. K2 good for bone and CV health. Both very important tho! Perhaps K2 will go in a future video...

    Eek... those questions. FAILLL!! 😂 I really like your concept of taking 1 day a week to rest and recover in EVERY way, not just by not working out. Balance is tough for me, with a sleep disorder and working 60+ hours a week. But Ithink i can incorporate that somewhat easily, as opposed to trying to change EVERY day.

    • @BeUnstoppabl
      @BeUnstoppabl 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea its not easy when you work so many hours is it! Are your work hours consistent or do you do shift work like some days and then nights?
