I remember the 1996 Ferrari breaking down a lot and when MS was leading this race, i remember sitting there saying "I'm gonna eat sht if he wins this..." and he won in phenomenal fashion.
At 1:10 you can see how on the limit Schumacher is on the front and the rear at the same time, and he still gets it rotated and gets on the power early without pushing it that tiny fraction too far (as Montoya did behind him). It's really jumping out at me here because i race Monza in sims all the time and if I went through the corner with that much rotation I'd definitely get all squirrely or just spin. It looks so fucking fast

In my opinion… Montoya was probably the best racer back them in F1 but sadly in f1 everything wasn’t what it looks, politics and corruption took the better of F1 even up until now. This is why I stop 🛑 watching it sometime ago.

Hill's whining is embarrassing, and the FIA's penalty against Schumacher is absolute nonsense. "Damon Hill clearly thought that Schumacher had gone too far and so too did a lot of others in the F1 paddock - notably the stewards, who called him in after the race and gave him a suspended one-race ban, for the next four Grands Prix." Absolutely laughable.
