Debby’s Fury: A Homestead in the Eye Wall
Join us as we brave the eye wall of Hurricane Debby to ensure our homestead stays safe and secure. In this video, Ethan and I venture out into the storm to check on our chickens and geese, making sure they are protected and have everything they need to weather the hurricane. We also refill the diesel generator to keep our essential systems running. Witness the raw power of nature and the resilience of our homestead in the face of this intense storm. Stay safe, everyone!

Bush hogging barbed wire can be challenging...is most definitely damaging to the hog May I suggest try bush hogging carbon based elements of the no breathing blood flowing variety 🤣😂🤣😂 But seriously...iv done this a time or two It's impossible to do a walk thru when you have 10s of thousands of acres....and fencing does occasionally get pulled down by hormonal ridden bulls who are hell bent on mating every cow in a 5 state area lol Well look at the silver lining... didn't you say you wanted new blades ???

@@180Floridalife Lol I have a highland bull I named Bilbo Biggins...he has a pinchin for popping and ripping up tires...one year he managed to break thru 7 different fences and made his way to a county road that cuts thru my acreage...that 'ol Bilbo managed to chase down two cars and rip up a couple tires before we could get him into a transport trailer... That was one of his more costlier treks lol But the car and truck he attacked were neighboring fellow farmers and understood about hormone season all too well lol We got them each a set of new tires and went on with our days lol We just can't understand why Bilbo Biggins hates tires so much I mean...he keeps attacking our supply trucks that brings out the treats every day....one would think he would be happy seeing them lol Hormones....it's a love hate relationship 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

That is wonderful you have been a beekeeper for that many years. We have been keepers for only 6 years and during that time we moved to FL from AK. All my equipment is new. Give me some years and our boxes will bee beeautifully aged 🐝
