Where planning a September or October trip!

We’ve gone to Myrtle beach for years!we went last year in September! Our one daughter and and I did parasailing! It was one amazing experience! Where Ali looking for new places to eat ‘ to do! We do enjoy grumpy monk only north Myrtle! The one in broadway ! There food wasn’t great ! Our one daughter loves there grilled cheese with with Mac and cheese!

Tucson has became the Kensington, PA of the southwest. Fentanyl zombies walking the streets everywhere. A friend of mine just got mugged last week. Rent even for the worst parts of the city has gone through the roof. Tucson is quickly becoming another San Francisco. NOTHING survives in Tucson for long. Do NOT fall for these lies. Tucson is an absolute miserable place to live. It is NOT the city I moved to over 20 years ago. I order my groceries to be delivered and almost never go out. When I do, I am armed and I pay attention to everything around me.

Please don't go winetasting and then jump on Highway 154 to Santa Barbara! We have way too many accidents on that highway and a lot of times it's middle-age people who have been hanging out at the wineries. It is a dangerous twisty highway with a large number of accidents. Just take the 101.

Just got back from a 16 state road trip and Cody Wyoming was my favorite place.

-Locals like to drive the speed limit, not 20 mph under! -Locals tend to use turn signals. -If no one's in front of you and traffic is backed up behind you, you are not the pace car. Go on, get over, pull over, or better yet, go back to wherever in hell you came from! -The left lane is for passing, not for you to run in holding everyone else up. Pass and get over. Stop impeding traffic!!!

They need to give more information about the “Fairytale cottages “ I can’t find a good tutorial about how to find them and when I personally went to find them, I ended up walking down drastic heels and getting exhausted and only seeing one or two.😫🥲

Hopefully Monterey will keep the homeless tents OFF the beach in future. There were quite a few tents along the cliffs when I was there this Oct. Sad to see. Concerned for the preservation of this most awesome coastline I love to visit.

My go to vacation spot, OCMD!

If you live in Asheville and bought an affordable home 15-20 years ago then the Biltmore Estate yearly pass for over a hundred dollars is a bargain. It gives you almost the whole estate for bicycling and hiking. Be careful letting yourself or you pet venture into the French Broad or surrounding streams because they always have no swim advisories for extreme high levels of ecoli. The Arboretum is nice for a gentle walk but can be very boring for those under eighteen.

Come visit Redding California for a river driven, outdoor experience. Fishing, cycling, mountain views and a small town feel. Access Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen within an hours drive. Coastal access only 2 1/2 hours away.

Beautiful beautiful park! The only thing I did not like was driving up there! Lots lots of curves!. We did see a couple of bears on our way up.

Zion is not in Moab; a good 4 hr drive. And while Goblin State park is nearer; it's still not in Moab; over a 90 minute drive on the other side of Green River,

Visited the island two years ago. A true magical experience.

I lived there in the 90s. Worked for city. Downtown was just being revitalized. Lots of housing available with a few spots expensive. Belle Chere. Safe. Not a lot of traffic. Nice local folks. Decent hospital. Restaurants expanding. I honestly loved it. Today a different place. It was advertised as best city and that is when all the rich liberal retirees came causing prices to go up for everything. I moved to another college city later touted as best city and once again it got ruined by wealthy libs. I moved again. Hard to believe but current city also named best city and now traffic beyond belief. It is not ruined yet, but we moved outside city just in case. “Best city” is a curse.

You left out the always sunny, no clouds and over 100 temps for 7-8 months a year.

I have no admiration for the ‘Robber Barons’ but those mansions are worth a visit.
