Colorful tents dot the white, snow-covered mountain at Camp 3 on the Southern Route, at an altitude of 5,800m. There are two options for setting up tents: over the ridge or under the ridge. I prefer setting up under the ridge, as it offers better shelter from the wind. However, pitching over the ridge can be challenging due to strong winds at times.
