The fact that no human face is ever drawn in this show-not even the witch characters, which is even more bizarre-is something that has never made sense to me. They also take great care to avoid drawing any human faces at all. While it might make logical sense on its own, there are still errors to address. 1. Character posters and pictures even refrain from depicting the head, which is absurd. Consider a wanted poster in which the criminal's face is hidden completely. That is not going to go well. 2. Heads are not drawn on TV or any other media source. Watching the news and not being able to see the anchor's face would be quite amusing because the cameraman will not even slightly tilt the camera upward. Such irregular logic. Additionally, do avoid making the counterargument that "it is because it is from their perspective" because it is not a strong one in the first place. When it came to vintage cartoons, it made sense to refrain from depicting the face of a rare human character in an animal-themed program. However, right now? It is just a cheap cover for being aloof. When interacting or conversing with someone who is larger than them, animals (as well as children) would instinctively look up, even from "their perspective." "But it is paying tribute to the classics." No, it is not. It is simply strange to witness these frequently appearing individuals walk around headless, with the headless theme even extending to images, television, and other media within the fictional universe. There is a post online discussing how it was done for narrative purposes. More specifically, "The choice to hide the faces of certain cartoon characters was likely a combination of practicality and storytelling technique. By sparing the effort of drawing their faces repeatedly and focusing on the main characters, cartoonists managed to captivate their audience and maintain compelling storylines." However, in this instance, it is completely impractical, and the narrative aspect of this characteristic makes no sense at all since it affects the character in absolutely every depiction of them. I do apologize sincerely for my outburst just now. I have simply been concerned by this for a while. Even now, these cartoons are quite exquisite. That was all I wanted to get out of my system. Even the most polite of individuals are in need of letting things out on occasion.
