James Baulch blew it for GB. If he had kept his head and just tracked close behind, Roger black would have won the race in the anchor leg as he would have been 2 metres or so behind. As it was, Baulch handed a big margin to the USA. You think he would have watched the 1991 final to learn how to run a relay.
He ran the 200m distance in about 86 strides, including the starting strides. The average frequency was 4.46 strides per second (0.224 sec per step). The average stride length was 232 cm, including the shorter starting strides. The first hundred meters took about 10.2 seconds, and the second - 9.12 seconds. That is, the reaction to the shot and the starting acceleration took 1.08 seconds. The time for each step in the second half of the distance decreased to 0.212 seconds per step (or 4.72 strides per second). Repeat this and you will be a champion. :-)
Sleightholme senior...Ollie his son
Giggs was good!
Remember being at this game when the Aussies used to beat us comfortably
Tony Gubba perfectly captured the moment: it was a bitter pill for Ray Wilkins, as QPR was so close to a crucial victory in their relegation battle., Manchester United refused to relent, and once again, Eric Cantona came through when they needed him the most. The way he picked up the ball and ran back to the centre circle told the story: he knew a point was not enough. Steve Bruce truly created that goal with his strength under pressure from Alan McDonald and Andy Impey, which made the difference.

Hans Erik Ødegaard was subbed that match. Father of Martin!
MERLENE OTTEY DUAS MEDALHAS DE PRATA E UMA DE BRONZE
In that Premier League season Tony Dorigo still was playing for Derby County, wasn't he?
2 decades back, I saw a Charlton game!.
John Hartson had missed 3 games for lashing out at 1 of Bolton's men!.
Good footage from 1999.
Platt was on bench should've played
Craig hignett was let goal by liverpool and was a brilliant player 👏
Liverpool given chelsea a good beating that day
best villa top there ever been
Whata hit from the Sheffield number 9⚽️🥅 Mr Quinn was quality last night up the mountains in tallaght yup the forge into the next round💚🤝👏👌
“Ewwwww what a goal that was!”
My dad is the leeds fan and too this day he still mentions he was the only Leeds fan to appear on telly that day 😂😂😂
I wish the Premier league was like this 😭
Saturday 22nd May 1999
Spurs completely capitulated in at least 3 matches at the time ... heavy defeats to Chelsea, Coventry and Villa before somehow avoiding relegation that season.
Was a poor season but at least we didn't lose to Woolwich Arsenal. The seasons that bring back the worst memories for me we 91-92 where we narrowly avoided relegation and didn't beat any of the big teams - and 1993/94 - when Teddy got injured early in the season and we capitulated on many occassions without him.
I was at this as a young lad
Great moment. I will never forget it. Tears.
Villneueve, most overrated WDC winner in F1 history
Funny how Boycott was praising Junior and his experience, then Junior gets clean bowled 😂
One hell of a race!!!
Miss those days so much happy times (:
Breuer's style..majestic..
Was at this game as a nipper !!
Before barnes lost his bottle
To Dark
I remember going to this game and then to the infamous arsenal game a few weeks later where the Santa parachute accident happened
Donovan was always my favorite sprinter.

Never apologize. Never give in. FIGHT! FIGHT!FIGHT!
The great fall @3:13, reminds me of C
Didn't think I would find footage of this but so glad I have. Only 8 years old at the time, it's the first football match I ever attended in person. My dad surprised me with tickets a couple of weeks before, and so we made the journey down from Hull to Old Trafford. Since he passed a few years ago, I find strange comfort in finding little things like this. Just knowng that we were here makes me smile. Thanks for uploading it.
I'm a Rams fan but this has to be one of the best goals ever scored. Not only is it his first game for Derby in the Prem but he takes the ball, holds off all these great Utd players, ROLLS his foot over the ball and scores. It's genius. Any football fan must be able to admit that.
Gritt Breuer great and strong coming back
Without question the worst ever 'performance' by a professional referee EVER Barry Knight should have been stripped of his licence immediately following this match he was even laughing after the Ipswich equaliser
Keane goal was never offside, though had it been given we wouldn’t have had the replay, which was one of the best games I’ve seen!
This was my first Arsenal game
The most match fixing match ever… with naked eyes
I was there, we were robbed. Goal by Wright which in fact was Wrong, love it
Didn't Catherine Merry look good
I can't help but wonder what would have happened had he stayed at Leeds, who at the time were clearly a better team than Tottenham, and had more talented young players looking to break through. I wonder whether Leeds' spending on transfer fees and wages would still have been so reckless, but then again I wonder whether Smith, Woodgate etc. would have been given as many opportunities as early on in the first team.
خويا صلاح حيسو الله يعطيك الصحة والعافية يارب العالمين شرفتينا ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
