As a support ministry of Athey Creek Church, Athey Women strives to live as Women Devoted to God and His Word. Athey Creek, based in West Linn, Oregon, is a body of believers desiring to know the Lord in an ever-increasing measure. We are a non-denominational fellowship associating with all who are in the Body of Christ. We like to keep things simple by focusing on God's Word and its application to our daily lives.
Our culture has so many messages about who we are as women but who does God’s Word say that we are? We long to see women gather and connect with each other while at the same time engage with God’s Word in a meaningful way that leaves women encouraged and challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Our prayer is that all women will feel welcomed and valued as we seek the Lord together.

For His Glory: A Study of Women in the Old Testament Announcement
There are 140 named and 81 unnamed women mentioned in the Old Testament. These were real women with virtues and vices. They watched the sun rise and set, faced fears, and laughed and cried - just like we do. In the Lord’s sovereign plan, He ordained these women to be a part of Scripture and we should look to the Word to learn from them. As we journey through this seven-week study, we pray that you will be encouraged to be a woman who desires to be clay in the Father’s hands and ready to follow His perfect design to bring Him glory.
This study will be available in-person in the sanctuary and via Livestream on our website. During the course of the study, you can catch up any time by visiting Athey Women TH-cam.

For those attending in-person, grab your study guide in the Bookstore during any weekend or Wednesday night service beginning Saturday, January 11. If you're unable to pick up your study guide prior to February 18, they will continue to be available in the Bookstore throughout the study and afterward. Study guides can also be picked up on Tuesday nights for the duration of this Bible study.
For those attending online, please follow the Athey Gear link to purchase your study guide. They will be shipped on Tuesdays and Fridays and can take 7-10 business days to arrive.

We love seeing gals fellowshipping before and after the study, so we'll have a sweet treat available at the conclusion of teaching each night.

Wow! A friend recommended this Esther study; I started yesterday, and I’m already on the fourth week, listening as I work! Amy is careful to stay true to God’s Word, even when it makes us uncomfortable. This study is biblical, historical, relatable, & devotional. She also gives the gospel, in case someone listening still hasn’t trusted in Christ. FANTASTIC!

Hi Mary! These groups are local to the Portland Metro area, but we will be following the Defined by Design study that Amy taught through earlier this year (all teachings are online and available on TH-cam). The study guide for this will cost $20 and will be available on the gear page at atheycreek.com starting on August 3!
