you don't need a passport to cross from the Netherlands into Germany and vice versa, or any border in the Schengen zone for that matter. Ofcourse you need to be able to ID yourself at all times. but I can hop a train right now and effortlessly go to Berlin from where I live in the Netherlands without ever needing to ID myself. I can jump in my car and drive on the motorway right across the border to do some shopping and filling up the tank for cheap. There's only an geographical border to separate the Netherlands from Germany but no physical one whatsoever.

(1) It doesn't yet exist. It's under construction in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. It's not likely to be operational until 2025, though other parts of the park may be opening in October 2024. (2) The "399 MPH" in the thumbnail is a pure lie. The top speed advertised (if they achieve it) is 155 mph. They might claim this was a conversion error km/h to m/h multiplying rather than dividing, but it's hard to believe someone capable of making a youtube video doesn't realize a km is less than a mile.

Most of them are wasteful unnecessary and unsustainable projects. Only two main lines of high speed train service are making profit and the rest are making huge losses, the nation owned company has now a debt of over six trillion yen and growing fast. The fees collected from users using the bridge mentioned can't even paid for the maintenance. Besides there are serious quality issues. Just look at the number of collapsed bridges and roads. These are only the tip of an iceberg.
