Congratulations on discovering my favorite singer! Amira was born in the Netherlands to a Dutch father and a South African mother on March 27, 2004. In January 2018 she emigrated to South Africa together with her mother and brother. Since then, her everyday language is Afrikaans - and I love it! She just finished her first year of university. She is studying BMus (Bachelor of Music) at the University of Pretoria, and her subjects are lyrical singing and orchestral conducting. In addition to her studies, Amira performs on a regular basis and manages her "Gelukskinders" foundation, which she founded 10 years ago. This non-profit organization builds and maintains playgrounds in underprivileged areas and supplies schools with sports equipment and sportswear. Hello my new young friend. Welcome to the World of Lil-e-ac. Nice to see this older video again. It reminds me of when I saw MeloDia interviewed by Vinny (Black Sabbath/DIO drummer) and Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge drummer and Singer) they also played this video. Carmine ribbed Vinny saying Abigail put in all his fills, then Vinny said she changed a few and tapped it out. So cool. Vinny has loved MeloDia and Liliac since they met I believe at the 2019 Nam in LA. He has said that she is the female reincarnation of DIO. At age 15 she found DIO and he was her main inspiration. I personally love their originals, however, I saw them and met them live in Spokane last August, when I heard the start of Heaven and Hell, something primal stured in me. They are what you see. High energy theatrical performance. Non stop. Just found you. They are my 2nd band I support. My other 2 are from different countries and different genres. Hope to see more. Peace. Stay safe.
