I was watching the lead-up to your recent election closely, and so I'll happily make some general comments and observations. I'm not a financial astrologer, but I am fin-astro-curious, so I'll certainly take a peek. Is there any particular time horizon for the UK economy one, or just a general forecast for the next year or so?

I'd never considered there to be an aspect between Mars and Saturn (other than like engirding given Mars' rulership of Aries and Scorpio) given my way into astrology was via Adam Elenbaas' course. Your video on the 165 degree aspect got me thinking. I noticed today that there was a 165 degree aspect on the day my dad had a major fall off of his bicycle between Pluto and Venus and Mercury (the latter were on his natal Pluto postion!) Thus, your linkage to the Plutonic nature of the quindecile made a lot of sense. Thanks for your videos. They are very interesting and I learn a lot.

@quitebright8799 I hear you! For ages, having come to astrology through the Hellenistic route as well, I would have been too much of a purist to have incorporated other techniques, somehow thinking that it muddled the craft by blending discrete periods with their own intellectual scaffolding, so I totally hear you on the no-aspect-like-engirding-aside interpretation. I think the main reason why I find this particular modern aspect so compelling is that the interpretation is so different and sometimes spot on. When the quindecile could be read as an opposition or aversion, I don't think that always captures the larger and more intense energy associated with 165-degrees. This said, I could also be way too soft in my interpretation of the Ptolemaic aspects (or non-aspects in the case of aversion). Your example of your dad is neat to think about - but more importantly, I hope he is OK and that it wasn't serious!!!!!!

It could! What might be interesting to look at is years when that house or planet may have been emphasized, for instance by profection, and whether that might have coincided with a trip for you.

Unfortunately in a world of rumour and lies speculation sells. Which leads to homogeneity of astrology ergo it becomes less popularized in its over trending use. The simplest answer is that, for someone with Venus RX, a transiting Venus RX can be more notable, depending on house placement and how it interacts with natal planets, potentially bringing about important turning points in a life. For example, one of the typical archetypal descriptions you often encounter if you read about Venus retrograde natally is a notion of someone who can be “countercultural” or “non-conformist" in a particular area of their life. During Venus RX periods, one signification can be revising or re-evaluating our values and so, someone who has this signature natally, could find this time more potent for asserting their personal values and going against convention in certain decisions they make. The nature of the experience is influenced by the transiting planet’s relationship to that natal placement, so whether that transiting Venus interacts with the natal one by a positive and “easy” or more challenging aspect is also something to consider. And, finally, the fact that all of us are going to be re-visiting previous Venus-in-Leo topics, for a Venus RX native, these can also be more notable transits, continuing a storyline initiated under previous Venus-in-Leo transits. If you Google "essential dignities table" and check the images tab, you will find several sites and individuals who have created a table that includes the terms/bounds for each of the signs. There will be a couple of different systems for the bounds - I use the Egyptian terms and bounds. Hope this helps!

@@chirode Couldn't agree more! Honestly, astrology is like an endless series of rabbit holes that you can go down and everyone and their brother has fifty ways and then some to examine a topic. I feel like KISS for straight-up natal delineation, and then, if you really want to go deep into a topic, there's no shortage of directions to pursue. But yes, I'm with you - it definitely feels like it could take a lifetime!!

I'd say so, plus the Moon picks up dignity in Virgo by triplicity, since the Moon is the nocturnal triplicity lord. And, what's nice is that it forms a Ptolemaic aspect to your ascendant by moving into the third house, which is much better than having your ascendant ruler in aversion to the ascendant. Sorry to toss some questions back, but is the retrograde Mercury in its own terms (~17-20 degrees Sag)? Is it within a couple of degrees of the Sun or is it towards the upper degree combustion catchment (i.e. 6, 7, 8)? Is it fast-moving (i.e., moving ~1 degree, 30'+)? Is it moving towards a conjunction with the Sun or moving out of the Sun's beams? And when your Moon moves into the third, are any benefics aspecting it or that Mercury?
