No idea it was Frank Lampard’s Coventry. Guess he never bought so much as a tea or coffee there when not playing against them.
We spent a tonne of money since acun and if we’re honest we not in a much better position on the pitch since he took over. Should we be relegated then we’ve gone backwards. I also feel Jared selecting players to come into the club has been terrible. He’s been poor and I can’t see him bringing many decent players on and he’s should go
If City get rid of that horrible green training gear they will win. It’s as simple as that🙄
Seeing Acun’s fake smile is priceless. We hate you.
BC’s got steam coming out his ears 👂 💨 😂
Bc does go on abit let the other two have a say
Feels like the same conversation that Hull City fans have heard for years, we as fans just put up with whatever we are served up , I love my football club and just wish the people in charge felt the same way
In need of a captain on the field?
Thanks for doing this ....Helps keeps me sane
I don’t like to slate players but Coyle is too negative. Too many easy balls played backwards.
Coyle out sell him to league 1
Coyle out Jan sell for £500000
Were you one of the 38 hull fans at the cbs? Poor away support
I wouldnt cross the street to pay money to this outfit.
Can think of at least 3 Reading players who are far better than anything we have.
One bad game Coyles been poor all season. Runs around like a headless chicken. He is a warrior but no skill and always passes back. Good job he's from Hull though as he would get more stick if he wasn't.
Totally agree. Most goals conceded can be traced back to Coyle either being slow, weak or most likely, way out of position.
Unfortunately, I agree. I've said it before too- Coyle is often found out by opposition wingers and can struggle for pace and is easily turned. Both Giles and Coyle also struggle to prevent crosses into the box too. I think Drameh has been better than both and deserves a run on the right side where he would usually play.
This team needs a leader and we don’t have one, we need a team like that of the great escape season, but we don’t have it, I really don’t see us staying up and I want to be proved wrong. As for the transfer window what player wants to join a team in a relegation battle and let’s face it the recruitment in the summer was woeful I feel for Reuben and last but not least we can blame the owner the so called brain team but some of these players need to grow a pair and seriously up there game.
Everyone on Coyles back cos he's had one bad game, same people slag off McLoughlin who did nothing wrong Saturday but praise Hughes who had an absolute stinker. Omur done nothing for a year but let's get on Longman's back every time he gets the ball - Scapegoats.
He’s been bad for weeks offers nothing constant backward passes poor defensively always caught out on his side Drameh needs to come in
He was crap for half the last season onwards.
Coyle out mcloughin out
I'm not sure if I'm watching a different team to everyone else but how nobody is mentioning we need a decent LB is beyond me. Giles isn't good enough and drameh is the best wing back at the club he's proved that enough this season. LB is a priority and get drameh in for coyle before he gets fed up resulting in us losing him for a small fee. We will start to get points if we aren't conceding sloppy goals every game
Any chance of getting someone in who actually knows players and how they might fit in to the team, rather than relying on stats and data. Someone once said that football is played on grass, not paper...
WE NEED A NEW CAPTAIN
Just get a couple of strikers in. We need tactical options up front to put things in the back of the net. We've got a strong xG and that will lift the pressure off the whole team.
I feel it it’s going to be ok. Let’s look forward like Coventry last season. It can and will be done
Agree with Prutts, there are 3 worse teams than us in this league.
I haven't seen em
@ the championship this season is awful. Oxford, Plymouth & Portsmouth. Luton nothing special
That maybe so but we are Bottom
A fair assessment as ever Baz, but can't agree with your take on Coyle, I get his work rate has been solid but he isn't up to championship level, he also isn't captain material. Ok he is maybe great at PR off the field but games are won on the pitch, how often do you see him marshalling and organising players, he just doesn't, how he is getting the position over Drameh on Saturday after 1st 45 mins is beyond me.
Watched enough football to know we are heading to League1.
Glad you said it starts with the owner If the Allams had sacks LR , and had that recruitment window there would be mass protests every week
Time to move on from the likes of Coyle, Slater, Jones and Macca, not good enough for this league, they were passengers in the team last year and are being exposed in a poorer team this year
City were rubbish before Bellumi and Millar got injured. We have 4 left backs at the club and you would want to play any of them. The squad put together this season is poor and unbalanced. Mason-Clark cost nearly 5 million and we have Longman and Kamara. The quality isn't there in this squad
Strange how the away clubs let you stay post match for the analysis, and the home side kick you out into the car park mmmm
We need a couple of ashbee , brabin, types in midfield, A barmby at no 10, A keith edwards up front, A pete skipper and jobson at the back, A tony Norman in goal,
We need a leader on the pitch we need players to perform as we did in the great escape or we are doomed
We're scoring a single goal in most games since Walter left. So time to work on parking the bus when we go in the lead. Personally I think we lack a bit of bite in midfield lately, maybe an attacking 433 / defensive 451 would suit us better in these times, with a defensive-minded player in front of the back 4. I think Coyle could do that with Drameh in at RB. Him and slater as the grafters in MF with one wildcard creative presence, and 2 wingers either side of the CF.
Hull City needs to go to League 1 to sort them selves out
Respect to all those who travelled. Real fans.
If you've watched any league one football this season you'd know this team would be struggling at the bottom of that let alone the championship. Self imposed destruction, one man to blame for it.
Not saying he's a world beater but how is Burstow not starting up front? He's by far our best option, not even close yet wasted out wide or worse on the bench. Makes no sense. I see it's taken Reuben two games, same as Liam to see Giles is useless. Drameh & Jacob full backs next game, not knocking Coyle he just needs a rest.
If we get out of this mess it will b the second great escape...unfortunatly I dont see a Brabin or a Whittle
Coyle your taking us down to your level out now
The 1st half went how I expected, then you didn't come out for the 2nd half, we should have score 3 or 4 in the end
Coyle isn't the only problem in our team but he was at fault on so many occasions yet again that we have to wonder why he is selected for every game despite his lack of ability. I get it that he is a local lad but so is Lee Langman and we dont pick him every week! How does Coyle get free rein to just wander all over the pitch when he is having no positive affect whatsoever? Charlie Hughes had to take a yellow card in order to cover for Coyle when he left his position uncovered for the millionth time then later gave away a penalty under the same circumstances. You can track back, match after match, and see the same pattern and dont even get me started on his constant backpassing (3 times in the last two minutes when the game is already virtually lost) and his pointless and mainly inaccurate random 30 yard diagonal passes. On reflection, maybe Lee Langman and his bags of carrier-bags might offer a more effective defensive choice.
Can we get Morton and Jacob in again.
Coyle and Giles are gash. Both allow crosses into the box, if you want a warrior Coyle s your man but not in Championship. Not a great captain either but would be great in the dressing room I would think
@@DonCarter-g1g warrior. He gets pushed over most of time. Can't tackle, doesn't close down. Noticed he's an issue for years now and he's still bloody playing, 3 manager lately.
It was awful today. Hughes vand Pandur look like the only decent defenders. The attack is toothless. We didn't see the midfield with Walter but on todays performance they aren't up to the job either.
Really Hughes gave away the penalty with a poor tackle, McLoughlin was by far the best defender today but that doesn't fit the narrative does it?
@stepheng8779 I agree about that Hughes tackle but don't see what narrative I'm trying to push I'm afraid.
How much longer can we keep saying this group have enough to get out of danger
Coyle out
ASAP
Not many players could have held their head high today but Lewie Coyle had a nightmare. I dont think hes at the standard we need but today he was woeful, how he came out second half, I will never know. He seems to be getting found out more under Selles as we do not keep the ball as much and aim to close down through the middle more. Their number 10 was all over him today. Giles not good enough either. Drameh and Jacob next week for me. Longman and Berstow kooked decent in fairness
Yes, we were poor. Try to be more constructive in your comments rather than moan. Our problem is too lightweight, too many youngsters with little experience and not enough bite. You sound like the typical moaning fan.
Correction, you sound like the typical fan. Supporting dross through thick and thin without any constructive criticism whatsoever. The chairman is having your pants down on a weekly basis in the same way Don Robinson did in his day and half a dozen dodgy directors in between. He has a half interested eye on on his investment whilst staying away at his main club. A few free holidays for selected fans doesn't hide the crap decisions and the abysmal recruitment. I can almost hear Joao Pedro's knees creaking from here, Coyle is a waste of space as a captain and so far out of position every time the opposition score it is a joke! Kamara looks like he isn't the slightest bit interested, loses the ball and doesn't even try to win it back, cant cross when he has a chance. Drameh is no more a footballer than I am a brain surgeon. I could go on, throughout the whole team but the fact remains, we are in this position due to the chairmans ego and no other reason. It's about time you 'true supporters' faced reality and started to complain LOUDLY. All this bullshit about 'support the lads', 'they will come good' and 'where were these lot when we were only 800 against Bradford in 1988' is utter bollocks. Where has all the money gone? Who is funding the 'Hull City' plane? You say we have too many youngsters but that's what they said about the class of '92. The problem with this lot is they are the absolute rejects of mainly minor clubs and there are far too many of them. Why do we need 5 goalkeepers? How many are here purely because they have Turkish connections and signing them will have raised the chairmans profile in Turkey? Mate, we ALL need to protest loudly because those of us that have seen this scenario repeat itself over the years are fairly sure it is all about to happen again. What happened to Tan Kesler? Why is there no genuine official statement even if it is to contradict the rumours about 'financial mis-management' ie has he nicked our cash? Has he signed this pathetic bunch of outcasts because he took backhanders. After we finally saw the back of the Allams I think we would have probably accepted literally anyone as a replacement but Acun is being found out and it doesn't look good.
The whole team needs to have a word with themselves.
Coyle again how many times do you have to watch him make mistakes . I think that’s at lease eight
Coyle is never marking his man, he seems to wander into defence too much and constantly loses his man, at fault for both goals today. He needs dropping if we are to survive.
Kamara was so lazy no tracking back there was a time he lost ball all players back behind tracking back he was the last to enter the city half that's including the cov CB's reminds me of Ebiowei
