When daisy chaining connect one cable from the inverter to the first battery, and the other cable to the last battery. This way the resistance (length of wire + connections) for each battery to the inverter will be similar and result in equal distribution of current between batteries.

From a pure theoretical model, modeling each wire and junction as resistors the current should be equally distributed assuming the batteries are at equal voltage (Ohm's law and Kirchhoff's law), but if both Andy and Will found something different in their experiments there must be some other factors at play to explain why.

@@rimdinenergy4155 The batteries will also not charge and discharge evenly using your approach of daisy chaining. This is not the best practice approach that you are recommending in your video. Perhaps if they are only 2 batteries then that'll be ok, still not ideal but ok, but certainly not daisy chaining 4 batteries. This has been well documented in both literature and others on youtube showing video demonstrations of the difference between wiring using the best practice approach versus wiring daisy chaining.
