Thanks! This really helped me, but one thing that I couldn't know I'd that I got a hazard sign on the ethernet icon on the taskbar after joining to a domain. It says that the DNS is not connected properly or something, can somebody help me! :)

Hi, you have to have 2 network adapters, if your using virtulisation, then it gives you the option to have multiple network adapters, you will have one assigned static and one dynamic, this should give you access to the internet

Best tutorial so far on setting up a simple active domain contoller that ive found on youtube so far. Half way threw the tutorial i realized why my clients weren't connecting to the server, but i watched the rest of the video for the music.
