Good player Phil Vickery, we loved watching him play us Welsh, particularly in Cardiff. A tough competator and superb scrumager. He's a good guy, life will correct itself for him again soon. I'll buy him a pint if I see him in Cardiff.

It falls apart in Wales when players are around 16, youth participation in Wales is pretty high but by U20's they're way behind, you need some sort of national academy (ideally 2) with education built in so that players don't have to choose between this or that. I would also go for 2 regions, and scrap the 25 cap rule.

Phil is a good guy. It takes guts to come on and be vulnerable. It's funny because when we watch rugby players at his level you just think they are super human and bullet proof. But at the end of the day many of them have some of the same problems as us. Good luck Phil!

They stopped that talking when they were around 200m away. They also had to cross a deep but thin river to get to me. Gave me time to get away. Ok so I watched the content about how good the Springbok are and then I read the comment. So how is it that some South African fans here are seemingly taking a position of them vs the world. They cannot accept a positive / negative/ ambivalent opinion about South African rugby without getting defensive or determined to find offence. Oddly this has been going after to two successive RWC wins and being empirically the best rugby team on the planet. Sure the kings of the castle are in the spotlight and rightly or wrongly draw criticism but most RWC winning teams have an aura of invincibility bred out of their hard-won confidence of winning the piñata of international rugby , but despite this achievement , this hasn’t seemed extended to a segment of the fan base who seem overly defensive or determined t find offence . Bok fans , your team are world champions, no one is questioning it, you can all relax relax and enjoy it. No one can take the Boks victory away from you. So there is no South Africa vs the world , no one hates you or is after you or conspiring against you , nor is there any need to justify yourselves. By all means if you have to post about your RWCs , your unique African toughness , togetherness , natural superiority or genetics etc if you want . But please stop this victim and paranoid mentality, it odd, it makes no sense to anybody. The Boks are a magnificent team built on real values such as respect, honesty, courage and commitment.
