    • @themanlycatholic
      @themanlycatholic หลายเดือนก่อน

      @meliciousgoremay do you understand what “giving the keys” means in ancient culture? That was Jesus telling St. Peter essentially “when I leave, you’re in charge of the Church here on earth.” Also, why is St. Peter listed first whenever the apostles are listed? Why did St. John wait for Peter when he arrived at the tomb first? Why did St. Paul defer to Peter on certain matters? Clearly Peter had some sort of authority in the early church given to him by Jesus himself.

    Don’t forget that one thing the scripture says God hates is tradition. It could be interpreted as religious ritual. If so, it could be that he doesn’t want people to just pray a prayer that the priest starts, and the congregation just says their part. This is ritualistic chanting, I believe it is not genuine prayer because it’s just memorizing the words, without truly understanding what they mean. There’s plenty wrong with protestant theology as well. But, don’t think catholic theology is immune

    • @themanlycatholic
      @themanlycatholic 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      God does not hate tradition. Jesus condemned the Jewish leaders for adding erroneous laws and rules that made it extremely difficult for the Jewish people to follow. Jesus was a Jew and did not condemn the whole Jewish faith and traditions. What is "genuine prayer" then? Why can't a repeated prayer be in fact, prayer? I don't understand your line of thinking that just because someone says a prayer that was written down that it cannot be authentic.

    Growing up babtist we learned the lords prayer but not to repeat it every time we wanted to pray. We broke it down into a format for proper and personal prayer with God. • @themanlycatholic
      @themanlycatholic 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My pushback is why do you refuse to say scripted prayers? When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray He responds with "this is how you should pray." Repetition is a beautiful thing and can be very advantageous, especially when you don't "feel" like praying. Jesus taught the Our Father for a reason. It is fine to break it down into a way to pray but you should also cite the one prayer Jesus taught His disciples that was recorded

    The god in this particular paradigm has certain qualities of being all-powerful all knowing. You can talk about free will all you want. You can't escape the reality that this God would be 100% responsible for everything that happens because it created every single aspect of everything and already knows what's going to happen when it made it. This God can't care about an outcome because it already knows the outcome. There is no scenario where it can enjoy watching something come into fruition because it already knows what's going to happen before it does something. Everything that happens could be tweaked to happen in different ways. This God would have no rules no requirements that it has to follow otherwise it's not really all powerful or all knowing or whatever you want to call it which makes it a different God which changes everything about your existing supernatural paradigm. Even if you want to blame the devil, you still have to acknowledge this God made the very devil and everything the devil is doing was already known by God to be done by the devil because God made the devil to do exactly what the devil does. There is no scenario where something happens that this God can't be aware of and can't control. Was something awful happens or if something good happens the only cause and effect logic you can use here is that this God is responsible for all of it 100% directly. Remember that if God can't control things then it's not all powerful. God can't be surprised by outcomes if it's all knowing. If it wants certain outcomes then it just had to make them happen The only conclusion you can make is that if people are going to hell or heaven then this God predetermined that they would do that by making them exactly the way they are and creating everything around them that does everything that it does. Free Will is not a part of this conversation. The God already knows what you're going to do with your alleged free will ahead of time so it is already sentencing you to hell. If it already knows the outcome then it needs to not make you that way to avoid the choices you're going to obviously make that it already knows ahead of time. If the desire is for everybody to go to heaven then that is God's responsibility The only remaining conclusion is that God wants people to go to hell and wants people to go to heaven. It wants people to know that something isn't good for humans and have documentation of itself doing it directly to the humans. God is a monster. Thankfully there's no evidence for it existing. Otherwise we live in a tyrannical narcissistic nightmare of a situation

      @themanlycatholic 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's plenty of evidence for God's existence. I'm guessing it does not meet your "criteria" of proper evidence though. I hope you look at the truth at the Catholic Church with an objective lens to find out who God really is.

    back in the early years of catholasisam the romans said Jesus was the real messiah...and they told poor people to turn the other cheek...rich man can't make to heaven. and so on...they basically tried to convince poor people not to Aguirre wealth....that their reward would come after they died. when thery were in heaven...sound familiar...

    I would like to ask the blessed virgin Mary about when Jesus get lost and was founded in the temple among the priests. I want to know what Jesus were asking to them and what the fariseos were asking to Jesus

    Latin --- is the language that terrorfies the demons the most , in exorcisms ! I suspect this is why the enemy wants Latin prohibited at Holy Mass.

    Nowhere in the Bible will you find “original sin”.

    • @themanlycatholic
      @themanlycatholic 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is referenced numerous times even though the term "original sin" is not stated. The Trinity is also not stated directly but is agreed upon by all Christians.

    If you have evidence that the Devil is real, we need you to post it. High quality photos and video where the devil is talking and performing evil miracles would do for a start. Oh, and just showing a human who is "possessed" isn't evidence (their actions can be caused by mental imbalances).

    • @themanlycatholic
      @themanlycatholic 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you have that much skepticism, no amount of evidence will suffice. Even if videos were posted with what you want, people naturally will say "Oh, that was manipulated, it's not real." Just youtube videos of various exorcists who all say consistently the same thing. These are all sound men who naturally are skeptical and don't think the devil lurks in every shadow. Their stories and cases are real. But judge for yourself

      @@themanlycatholic "When you have that much skepticism, no amount of evidence will suffice." The problem is - no evidence at all has been offered. In all the time that this subject has been discussed - no evidence. "Just you tube videos of various exorcists who all say consistently the same thing." And people who say things are guilty of hearsay. One has to put them in the same category as those who say they have seen UFOs. Anybody can say anything. Me included. But I am skeptical and evidence will hellp. So far - none.
