Oh, this song!!! It has been such a blessing since the 80's. It brings such comfort and assurance .....Jesse has truly given us an anchor to hold on to. Because of THE BLOOD OF JESUS we are chosen and we are more than conquerors.....GOD sees us through THE BLOOD!! THANK YOU DEAR JESUS FOR YOUR GREAT SACRIFICE FOR US!!!

20 years ago, this was my special number in church as a teenager, that precious blood change me then and still amazes me today. Thank you Jesus for the blood. I love you Lord forever.

I've been searching for this song for years and thank the Lord I've found it! Thank you Jesus that God sees us through your precious blood!

Dutchess thanks for posting. I was in Christian radio when this came out and I did an interview with Jessy and talked about this song. The tune is written by Barry Manilow and the words to Even Now was written by Marty Panzer and this was written in 1978. Jessy wrote the words and put it to Barry's tune in 1982. You will also notice that Jessy used the words from the hymn, At The Cross. I love the song.
