gavin fuller was on the finals board? as in the mastermind champion?
Just for the record: Yes, it is Gavin Fuller from Mastermind, he won twice on 15-to-1 but he never quite reached a Grand Final... Also in this series, Mary Board and William Whyte did indeed tie for 15th place at the end of the series, but there wasn't a play-off between the two - Mary went straight into the Grand Final line-up because William Whyte was unable to make the studio dates for the Grand Final anyway due to illness, so Mary got the 15th Grand Final berth automatically without the need for a play-off
