Thanks very much for this presentation. Observation is not only critical to policy creation as well as management, it is critical for those of us who work within these ecosystems at the managerial level that we think in what I like to call "tree time". Ecosystems, their associates and the integration of their functions and life expressions demands that we be observers so our management is supporting all of that rather than human top down "I know better". A willingness to observe and understand before taking any action is an important tool for the sustenance of biodiversity.
Ask Google how much money they have donated to charitable projects that do actual biodiversity work. I'm sure it's zero while they consume billions in ad revenue. Gotta love big tech.
I think it would be great to provide the speech of Charles as standalone. Better to share in social media.
