Fax though going back through games don’t feel the same as it was before and games like fortnite don’t hit the same even when the og season came back it still didn’t feel the same and cod doesn’t hit the same either the games are mediocre now it was the people you played with that made those games so memorable

They were my childhood friends. We still game from time to time, and often as well, just not as often due to our obligations outside of gaming. It still sucks because I remember playing team tactical with some friends I made on Halo Reach and just having a freaking blast. Soon though, it was mostly folks that all of us knew mutually in our day-to-day lives. It lead to insane days in Battlefields 3 & 4, COD: Ghosts, BO3, and Halo 5. These were the peak years in the friend group to me. Then, the ladder part of the 2010's came along, and we all drifted into our own mutual little subsets of gaming, moved, found SO's, other obligations, and so on. I'm so proud of my bros and how far we have all come, but man, I miss the days of just being able to have late night Halo or Battlefield sessions, talking smack, having deep discussions, and just vibing. It's something I hope we can carry forward so that our kids may be able to experience one day. If you made it this far, thank you for reading. I hope you have an amazing day!
