His name is very important. It is a command not to take it in vain. Please look up the ineffable name doctrine. Also the saviours name was not Greek, English etc. It was in ancient Hebrew. Polish 🇵🇱✝️🇵🇱 Jezus (IeZus) where J is soft and Z is hard. U thought how Jesus would think of His Name be pronounced in different ways and I thought of my name which is Dawid. In Polish it is written with w, but english is David, hebrew the origin is 3 letters DWD would say. And the accent in the origin is for the last sylab. I do not mind any of pronouciations, I acutually like to get to know how different nations pronounce the name I have, so I think Jesus is not offended, but for sure it must be pleasant for our Lord to learn His beloved language of hebrew and armaic.

Europeans have a habit of twisting names as much as possible.. so much so that Mary mother of Jesus would have been cnfucsed if someone toid her that her first son was nicknamed Jesus. Now she had another son who wrote an epistle in the New Testament whom she named 'YAKOV. I magine her plight if someone told her he was "James" and not Yacov. She could console herself about Yhuda whom they twisted only partially to "Jude". English are smart.😂😂😊

The case is the same in India where many languages have evolved from Sanskrit and Arabic. Even in the 28 States of India, the Indian languge is spoken very differently. So Yeshua is pronounced as, Jishu,.Issumashi, Issahmasi and in a countless ways by the tribals. and also Jesus,in the North East States. It seems the name of Yeshua could be distinctive ("There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved” ~ Acts 4:12. Incidentally, I take Acts 4:12 to mean that the name of the Anointed One is still under the name of Yahweh (יהוה).]). I sometimes wonder if the name of the Anointed One could be H3444 (ישועת) in the Strong's Hebrew Lexicon instead of H3442 (ישוע). One reason I wonder this is because it seems the Anointed One's name might be distinctive from all other names given "under heaven." The other reason is that the angel had to explain to Joseph in a dream why to name the baby this name (Matthew 1:21). If Yeshua were a common Hebrew boy's name, would the angel have had to explain the name to Joseph? Just a question. Since the oldest New Testament scriptures (written in Greek) are the documents most relied upon by scholars, they are accepted as the most authentic sources. However, most New Testament scholars (across the board) don't think that Yeshua and his disciples spoke in Greek. The Greek interpreters who did pen the New Testament scriptures did not always capture (possibly, they might not have even realized) some of the subtleties of Hebrew thought and word. For example, the Greek translators failed to translate the name of Yahweh from Hebrew scriptures that Yeshua and his disciples quoted according to the Greek New Testament manuscripts. I also wonder about the scripture, “And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of Yahweh (יהוה) will be delivered" ~ Joel 2:32. I am a devout Christian; nonetheless, knowing that people have altered God's pure word has caused me to doubt the authenticity of scriptures that seemingly contradict. I call on the name of Yahweh, but I am confused about calling on the name of Yeshua ("...one mediator between God and men," 1 Timothy 2:5). In the Lord's Prayer, which Yeshua the Anointed taught, we are instructed to address God our Father Yahweh. In Acts 4, the apostles pray to God the Father and then conclude the prayer by asking that wonders be done in the name of Yeshua (Acts 4:24-30). This is confusing to me in my prayer life. I want to worship God in all the Spirit and all the truth. I pray to God and ask for all the Spirit and all the truth for all of God's people.

I believe that Yehoshua was the 'official' name form, but Yeshua was the more commonly used form of His name. In other words, I believe that while the 'official' or 'formal' form of the name of Yeshua was Yehoshua in the original Scriptures, where the goal seemed to be to enlighten people about God and His holiness, when the 'Son of Man' Himself was on Earth with us, He preferred that the people around Him would call Him by the simpler, more 'common' form of the name - Yeshua. After all, judging by the character we see from the Scriptures, Jesus was a 'man of the people' and didn't like to make a big fuss over Himself, but over the Father. Thus, 'Yeshua.' ❤❤❤ A little off-topic: I simply LOVE pondering these things together with my sisters and brothers!
