Hello! Just wanted to comment since I'm actually going through watching all of your clan character creation videos for some inspiration and I'm loving the different angles I didn't think about approaching the clans from. I have a Malkavian character that I'm roleplaying that I feel is getting lost in the ideas I have for them and being able to stick to a compelling theme with nuance. They're a Malkavian artist concept that gets mistaken for a Toreador very easily, and watching this has made me realize how much they don't resemble a Malkavian in the way I have written them and how I play them. (I hope to remedy that) So I'll be VERY excited once a Malkavian focused vid is completed <3 <3 <3

I've always liked the idea that the Nosferatu clan curse gets watered down with each generation, so the ugly but passable for human Nosferatu of the modern nights are a testament to just how thin the blood has gotten, whereas elder Nosferatu are so horrifying that they cause something similar to the Delirium that Werewolves inspire. I also like to think this leads to Elder Nosferatu treating their juniors to a condescending 'you kids have it so easy nowadays, back in my time blah blah blah' speech every once in a while when they overhear them complaining about something.

I'm not convinced this isn't an actual vampire.

Another very nice video. I cant recommend enough your approach of focus on themes, motives, and flaws of each clan. You talk about the characters, and help highlight that characterization, more than just hitting lore bullet points

I like how you focus on the Character, themes, and motivations. A lot of VTM creator's just read the Wiki/directly from the Books in lore presentation.

Nice take on the Nosferatu. I agree on how V5 removes a bunch of the prior modus operandi of the Nosferatu. To me: the Nosferatu arent cursed to be ugly, but rather to be the eternal hunter and monster that needs (unlike other clans) to hide from their prey. The 'info network' isnt because they want 'secrets', but they are more like CIA/MOSSAD some intelligence org that leverages intel to turn people into assets that can be exploited. Like the Gangrel, they can live outside the city which is why in V5's timeline i view them as about the only independent clan left(maybe include Hecata in being independent as well?). They have representation in each sect an no one really knows the Nosferatu demographic because Animalism Clans dont need cities for feeding, and Ancient level Obfuscate likely hides any real facts about the clan. Gangrel are known to be the hunters out in the wild, but the Nosferatu get overlooked as the hunters and bodysnatchers that take their prey down below, no one knows what happens to them. Think Persephone, Chronus's kids being eaten. or a hive of Xenomorphs. Nosferatu can also do shit thats just as scary as the Tzimisce. I forget which edition of the clanbook but it implies they make 'wetbrain' ghouls/revenants. Devolved humans either by drugs or lobotomy that live miserable savage lives. Long ago witnessed a PC Nosferatu pull this off. They can also leverage Plague and arson. Ventrue may control the city, but they dont really know how it works and the Nosferatu know this. Clan Nosferatu may be pretty unified but a lot of STs and PCs forget that they can use Obfuscate and Animalism on each other. Gas Lighting, misinformation, and extortion layered like an onion. Its kinda obvious for a Nos to Mask as someone else and cause trouble. A little more nuanced for a Nos to Mask and cause trouble just for another Nosferatu to witness the Mask causing the trouble and try to sell that info to a concerned 3rd party. Or Mask as a rival Vamp and poach feed on their Herd. Compromise that Herd/Ghoul while Masked as their master, and sow disinfo, get secrets, or inject them with some kind of marker to track them. Fun stuff like that. Plus the rivalry with the Toreador is fun. They mirror each other so well.

Oh yes the Sewers Rats, always liked my vampires more outwardly monstrous so natural the Nosferatu are among my favorite clans. 100% agree with you how weak sauce the V5 Nos are. The whole point of the clan is that they cant pass for humans, being unmistakably supernatural and monstrous in their appearance, so toning them down to just being disfigured humans takes so much away from the clans identity, lore, history, and culture. Its even weirder when you look at how Nos are portrayed in V5 after the Core, Anarch, and Cam, which have seen to have mostly ditched the idea of Nos just being disfigured humans to actually making them look like monsters, cause most Nos you see depicted in later V5 material do not look like they could pass for human's at all.

I'm checking out this series because of your clan creation vids. So cool that you've got so much recorded of this chronicle.

I like the Malkavian play also. Beatrycze was so careful with the primogen. I feel the character’s mental stresses in this game. Once again a very well played and not typical representation of the lunatics.

Magdalena judging the lab was cruel but the botched samples would cause me the same alarm. Especially with a science Brujah? That is such a wild take on this clan. This style should be adopted more with them. Why couldn’t they have high skill in academics or occults? One night the Brujah might even return to Camarilla to replace the stagnant Ventrue. Maybe. That is still tough to do. Especially in these modern nights. Enjoying the high difficulty play by our dear storyteller. Especially how low dice roll in WoD:VtM. Fun and very scary to call upon the power of the cainite vitae. The beast is not one to be tamed.

Yeah, yeah... Brujah CAN be stubborn, pretentious and a pain in the arse. But good luck telling that to one! 😄

Janina is not what I’d expect from how Brujah are usually depicted. Still, maybe she is more philosopher and only warrior when she needs to be. I like this break from tradition. Your secrets are safe with me.

Interesting review, seen through a differnt more esoteric lens than other reviews. I like an acknowledgement of the dark aspects of the game, and its adult themes as a subject of the human experince. I am curious on your take of its potential sequel, Lust of God, having a new developer and more graphic approach than the previous developers?

Uważem ,że tło historyczne i wasz pomysł na opowieść są dobrze dobrane. Postacie są ciekawe i widać, że grając dobrze się bawicie. Język angielski dla zasięgu jak sądzę. Pewnie to dla was nieistotne ale musiałem poskręcać prędkość odtwarzania do 1,5 a nawet 1,75 żeby utrzymać uwagę na tym co mówicie 🤷🏻‍♂️. Czasem odbijam się od lawinay uczuć postaci. Mam na myśli momenty w krórych opisywane są uczucia na temat jednej z postaci na temat myśli innej postaci na temat uczuć odnośnie kogoś tam 😵‍💫, ale to oczywiście wynika z mojej prostej/płytkiej natury😅. Słucham wielu historii ze Świata Mroku i nie tylko , prowadzonych przez różnych MG/ST. Uważam ,że macie duży potencjał dotarcia do szerszego grona widzów. Pierwszy odcinek po prologu dostal 37👍🏻 i 21 komentarzy. Wiele osób ogląda/ słucha historii z WoD. Kiedy to piszę sesja 10 ma 3👍🏻 i 8koment.,sesja 20 ma 2👍🏻 i 0, 30ta 4👍🏻 i 1 , 40ta 2👍🏻 i 0 , 50ta 1👍🏻 i 0, 60ta 5👍🏻 i mój koment😔. Może warto smienić soś w sposobie narracji 🤷🏻‍♂️? I've never been interested in playing a Toreador (or a Brujah) but these videos actually make me feel like drawing up a character or two for each. Can't wait for Malkavian, Gangrel or Lasombra. Any plans for the "other 3"? If you do my beloved Cappadocians, feel free to ignore 5 - I know I do 👻

I know these are already long, but would be cool to see the V:tDA sections touch on their Libellus Sanguinis entries - some expand as much as a full clanbook {cough}Assamite{cough}. Also a brief touch on their VA:V portrayal.

Ah, really enjoyable VtM content! My first character was a Brujah, game set in England. At life Physics College Student, while an amazing Underground fighter. Reason for embrace was fact she did defeat a Vampire in an illegal match, barely, but still. Embraced by Herbert Westin to eventually pit my character against Smiling Jack in Vengeance. Loved that character.

Wow cant wait to watch new episodes of this series when you make them! Im also really interested in how the editions have changed over time :) Especially since ive played the video game which was based on an older edition!

For a branch of the Brujah the true brujah they are a thing . In V5 they are a rare kindred to find for current night. The true Brujah they are a interesting take on for a brujah can be having a like one that is more rationional , logical , less emotional impulsive and not as impulsive like more common brujah in the current night. If a brujah and a true brujah are side be side a mondern kindred . One can have a hard time seeing both are Brujah .
