Hello! Do you have any tip regarding durability (for this bag of just the brand in general). I love the black version of this backpack but, being more of a “stylish”brand (rather than an outdoorsy one), I’m afraid it may not last as long as some other brands with same price point.

Top tip! Do a reverse fold on the xpanding pocket! Helps eliminate lean and makes the sling hug the body better! And atm there are other good colors available! I have the desert gold v2 and you can mod the compression straps to cinch tighter and be better in makeing the bag slimmer

I like the recycled material and small UK company aspect but fear the quality and only one year warranty. A lot of the Google reviews mention defects. It's hard not to go with a longer standing brand with 10 year or lifetime warranty.

Thorough review. Very helpful that you included the airline size maximums, and for providing the dimensions and weight of each case. Plus the sizer! I have the July essential lite expandable which is a great bag. Especially like July's smooth wheels, light weight and expandability. The July is a clamshell and I am looking for a front loader like the last carryon you showed. I had not heard of it and will check it out. I found your channel today and immediately subscribed because your female focussed perspective is unique.

Great backpack, but: Con 1- weight! Con 2- not well padded straps and back. Nomatic Navigator is more convenient in this way! Con 3- sliders/zippers can’t be inserted one into the other, so that smn can’t open it unnoticed. Here you only can use additional lock. Con 4- it is easily scratched.

The little hollow flip thing in the middle of the big zippers on de back is ment to give you immediate access to the main compartment. You can pull the flip thing and then both zippers will open simultaneously.

I have a question, does it also wear as a waist belt?!?

Not true about easyjet / ryanair. I have taken an osprey bag with identical dimensions multiple times on both airlines. Just don't stuff it full.

Those leather padded shoulder straps are much more comfortable than the vegan leather. Also the vegan leather just looks inferior and rips easily.

Hey Orlaigh! Appreciate the thorough review here and some of the cons you pointed out are definitely things we will consider moving forward; I did want to point out really quickly that the external kangaroo pocket does have drainage if water enters it, but it's not easy to see, as it is a perforated section hidden underneath the flap of the stow pocket on the bottom of the bag!

I'm really curious about the size of this Peak Design Camera Cube and whether it's the older or the latest version. Also, I'm wondering if the Peak Design Outdoor Backpack 45L has a side opening that matches the side opening of the Camera Cube, allowing for quick camera access without having to open the whole bag.
