Your welcome! I wish it was longer, but landed due to the helicopters flying in the area. I wanted to play it safe, especially after that one military helicopter basically did the fly by right down 152.

Subscribed, and liked! My husband Kyle and I currently live in Mustang as well! Usually on the 4th the fireworks in mustang are unbelievable! I hope you’ll be able to get drone footage after the sun goes down on the fourth! 😁 We’ll be moving to Norman and selling our tiny 750 sqft home in mustang in October so this will be the last Fourth of July living here. Very bitter sweet.

I’m going off of where I mow, and if it gets scalped mowing form that level. My yard has a few low drainage spots all the water goes to. Didn’t want to kill the yard completely by adding sand all on top, so Hopfully doing this in portions will keep my yard healthy, and slowly start to get “level” but won’t fix the “hills” if that makes since. Everything I have learned mixing sand and a top soil is the best combination and then simply just spread across low spots in the yard evenly, and work those existing grass blades above the sand . My yard is also being treated for weeds on a weekly schedule.

@@CaseyBillings Thank you for this useful information, I have also been learning about leveling with soil and sand and have applied some mix here and there. When you say you go off of where you mow. Where the scalped areas are that means place the mix on and around the scalped areas to raise it correct?

Yep. Having a party on the 4th and want the yard level as possible. I only put down about 1200 pounds of sand. Don’t want to over do it and completely cover the yard until towards end of year.
