Sustainability Pathways Program at the University of Toronto

Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, U of T’s Sustainability Pathways program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to enhance sustainability literacy, regardless of their major, and develop cross-cutting, interdisciplinary skills.
Created by the U of T Committee on the Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainability (CECCS), the program trains students to become Sustainability Citizens, Scholars, and Leaders, through an integrative framework of co-curricular activities, coursework and a capstone experience.
The program particularly aims to “reach the rest” - students whose degree programs are not directly related to sustainability. It provides students, no matter their field of study, with a “pathway” to explore sustainability.
