Kentucky Nurses Association KNA
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 ต.ค. 2017
Established in 1906, the Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA) is the only full-service professional organization for the state's entire nurse population. In addition to its role to promote the essential role of the registered nurse in health care delivery, the Association serves as an advocate for quality patient care in all settings. From the halls of Frankfort and state agencies to boardrooms, hospitals and other health care facilities, the KNA is the strong voice for the nursing profession in Kentucky.
I AM A NURSE
Nurses are integral leaders in healthcare, taking on a variety of professional roles that extend beyond direct patient care. As advocates for patients, they ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care while also guiding patients and families through complex medical decisions. Nurses often serve as team leaders, coordinating care among various healthcare providers and ensuring communication flows effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Many nurses take on leadership roles in healthcare organizations, influencing policies, improving patient outcomes, and contributing to the development of new protocols. Additionally, nurses are educators, both for patients and future healthcare professionals, shaping the next generation of caregivers. Their diverse responsibilities and leadership skills make them vital to the overall functioning and improvement of healthcare systems.

Many of the good nurses (critical thinkers) left due to employers trying to force injections. I only appreciate the nurses who stood up to the med. mafia system and spoke out about the scamdemic. Wondering if my comment will be allowed to remain here.
people like gov ron got in the way of there jobs and the nurses no it all not right wing people that are not nurses
GET IT FROM THE PHILIPPINES!!
This is NOT "direct engaged care." This is cutting corners for the hospital to save money. And does it really require a doctorate in nursing to be a good teacher? No.
There's already a nursing shortage, very few Americans want to be nurses. Of course Texas would be the state who can't keep nor produce them the most. Treat women like they're property then a profession with women as majority won't stay.
Just raise the pay and more people will come. Having a virtual nurse is not as good for a patient as a real person in the room. And nurses who do this kind of job should be compensated enough to not feel like quitting, not replaced by a person on zoom

Where can I get the process of developing nursing standards of practice in Kentucky?
Dr. Anne Sahingoz is a very intelligent woman
For the love of God why is any nurse with a license these days having to do time consuming work that you don't need a nursing license to do? Secretarial work, housekeeping, dietary, baths, feeding, lab draws, answering phones... It's because of Hospital greed. At this point nursing is so specialized that the most a nurse should be required to do is administer medications, titrate medications, physical nursing care and assessment and documentation... Anything over and above that needs to be delegated to well-paid support staff or healthcare will simply collapse.
Ruth Carrico compares unvaccinated nurses to murderers...a pioneer in the making. 🙄
