Kate_Kindergarten.wmv
This is Kate's first day of kindergarten. We took her to school and picked her up afterwards. I didn't cry until we got to Chik-Fil-A afterwards and this song was playing. The phrase that always gets me is "I'll have tears as you take off but I'll cheer as you fly." Kate has grown so fast. I try to treasure the time I have with her but the time still passes so quickly...

Sailing from Florida Keys to NY
มุมมอง 1.2K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
June 29 we left Pensacola to drive to Marathon, FL. From the Florida Keys, we set sail for New York. It ended up being an 11 day sail up the east coast with two stops to refuel and repair our main halyard that broke twice. As time passes, I am finding it harder to remember how uncomfortable I felt most of the trip unable to escape the intense heat below deck. Or the fear for our lives as we sai...

Love the music! Nice to see your adventure!! ♥️ Miss you guys!
Bob is my friend and he is here telling me about this video and his trip! So awesome!
Loved this! Great group of people and captain to go sailing with. Also, very cool compilation of the fun, not so fun and really fun parts!
He must like climbing that mast..
I've known Bob since 2002ish when he owned Moby at Rod n Reel marina. You couldn't have gotten a better captain to help you on your journey! Loved watching your adventure! Hi Bob! <3
It was really Bob's adventure that we got to participate in. He is moving Moby to Michigan. They are in Buffalo, NY today.
Loved this!
Love this video! What an accomplishment, and yes, Bob is a legend! I've always felt better when he was on any boat i was aboard.
Captain Bob Falkner is a frickin legend!!!
Indeed! During that storm once Bob was in the cockpit I was no longer worried about the storm.
Thank you for sharing this video! As Bob's daughter, I wanted to share that the provisioning was my responsibility. Huel was chosen not as the sole provisioning but because it's a complete food that can be stored easily, prepared quickly, and provides all necessary nutrients. Having experienced bad weather offshore, I know how important reliable food options are. Huel delivers more vitamins, protein, minerals, and nutrients than bread and peanut butter. I recommend reading the label-Huel offers comprehensive nutrition for demanding conditions. 🤗🫡
I don’t want to ruin a good story with facts! We ate it and some of it was actually quite good. I plan on getting some for emergency rations for hurricanes. We still had much fun teasing Bob about it.
WOW, amazing footage. You’re all very brave . So happy you are all safe.
Beautiful example of what to strive for - in a few ways. God bless your family.

His a cute little fella 🤠!! All the best ❤️ . South Australia
He is precious. I just saw your videos of Kelly...what a lovely young lady! All the children got so big. Wishing your beautiful family much happiness.
Oh poor little girl 💓, but you all helped her to feel love. T/Y All the best from South Australia
Que criança difícil, Santo Deus!!!!
Hes precious. Here's praying he is happy, healthy and transitioned easily. God bless your family.
Thank you. John is 11 now and he is healthy and very well loved. his favorite activity is wrestling with his big brother.
What a beautiful little girl. Must have been a very confusing day for her, but your older daughter was precious with her! I am sure having your other children there helped her tremendously...
Can you imaging what it is like to be suddenly surrounded by long nose and yellow wavy hair people.
Its a lot better to be surrounded by those loving caring people than stuck in an orphanage and finish up going off your head, he is going to a caring culture thT will benefit him in every way.
Very scary I’m certain. I’m so thankful we had his siblings around him to show him he would be safe. Later that night he would knock over blocks and wait with a smile while his siblings stacked them up again.
You all got him out the orphanage to give him a better life! That's the main thing 👍. From one adoptee. South Australia
Eine unglaublich Liebevolle Familie!!!! Liebe Grüsse aus Köln
Favorite moment that you only notice after watching 50 times while editing: 2:49 - Joe M. secretly irritating Paul with a string
Kelly really is a beautiful little girl and very much a daddy's girl..and she has the best big sister.💗
we have a special bond. She is my go to buddy for any errand. She is always the one child of mine who always remembers to give me a goodnight hug. She has grown up to be a very beautiful young lady.
She was especially scared but luckily she got mommy , daddy n even small jie jie who were understanding n all doing their part to ease her fears. Years have passed since. Wish her n her family prosperity n happiness in the coming NY and beyond.
Kelly has been my daughter for 12 years now. See how happy my beautiful daughter is today. th-cam.com/video/p7_Glr8McnU/w-d-xo.html&t=1225
Wondering why you didn't leave your kids at home?
nhgriff1 Many adoptive families report that the presence of their other children helped with attachment, etc. Considering that the new children live in orphanages, they're used to other kids. Saw your other comment: Is being hypercritical of loving, godly people like the Rowland family your mission in life? It's almost too pitiful to think of and perhaps you're miserable enough without my observations. I like these videos to share in what's been an extraordinary journey, to congratulate and extend blessings. Reckon we're all very imperfect sinners who could show one another grace.
It's not about the children they have at this moment but the one they are adopting. Many of these videos show the children acting out in jealously. This should be a time of bonding between the parents and new child. They are not getting a puppy! And my life is just fine, thank you. I've seen your comments on a lot of these videos and it's not all giggles and rainbows. My best wishes to the family for a successful adoption.
nhgriff1 Your misery is shiny.
We thought it would be less scary for Kelly to see other children happy. We had grandma there to help care for our other children. There are no perfect answers when dealing with brokenness.
@@jasonxrowland you done it perfectly. Don't listen to haters. God bless your entire beautiful family...
John is precious! I love how Kelly gets to be a big sister and help him transition this time. All your children have grown so much in the few years since Kelly was adopted. You have a sweet group of children. Congratulations on the newest member. Hope all of you are doing well. Thanks for sharing your videos!
Thank you for the kindness. John loves his sisters and parents but can’t get enough of his big brother.
Your daughter (Kate?) was so precious and sweet towards her new sister. I loved how she was sharing her granola bar and other food with her, and she was so tender -- kissing Kelly, patting her, etc. Kate is a wonderful little girl, and I'm sure you are very proud of her. I hope that sweet little Kelly got over her fear pretty quickly. It is heartbreaking to see the little ones so afraid. They have no idea what is going on, and how their lives are about to change forever.
your biological daughter i am guessing, the one in the pink...soo loving towards her.
