Very Informative, Thanks
i have tawny owls whwere i am and really hoping to pin point where they nest to watch the babies fledge .. i now realise i have been hearing male and female and baby tawnies theese last 3 years .. we have a small wooded area in back garden and fields all around .. the tawnys here are definalty permanent .. as i hear them evwry few days and all years around .. even when i am out and working around i hear them in day .. amazing birds of prey . i would like to learn their nest is .. i am a tree surgeon and have had to work on several large trees that tops came down in storms . so i belive they have nested in a fork or stump of top of a tree we have up here .. i hear the tawny literally in one of 4 trees above me when in woods i just rarely see it and have not yet pin pointed which tree .. they are well hidden which is good .. your tips are helpful .. about how to find them .. i have seen the tawny before sat on branch watching me from above lol .. and i once called back to a hooting tawny and it returned call to me .. i feel lucky they chosen to live so close to where i am .. also i seen a barn owl one night in field some years ago .. but its tawnys that are here permanent .. great info and photography mate .. thanks for insight into them ..
amazing info !!
Amazing video, thanks! You're very talented!
Just watched this again Brooke it’s really beautiful in every way tbh 💚
Super stuff, amazing how well it clung on in that high roost and wind! I am trying to find some in my locality currently in Cornwall, what time of year did you finf best for finding the Tawny's, and will they remain faithful to a location for repeat visits?
This young fella has done a more informative video that all the adult experts.
that's so kind of you! I will have to do another now with three more years experience :) thanks so much for the support.
Beautiful and very relaxing! It must have been very special to see them in person!
Is it really necessary to put music? Nature already speaks and sounds without extras, and it sounds better than any musical composition. Look at those pictures!!! They are wonderful.
I think the music adds really nice!
I love this video
Can i post in my IG?
what a catch
Amazing footage! What a beautiful bird!
Brilliant

Very cool
Great advice thanks
Great tips. I’ll put advice to practice, thanks……
I'm currently looking for a local tawny owl nest myself even though they have only just paired off but I can hear them calling every night but we need to be careful not to get too close because we might end up like the famous naturalist Eric hosking who lost an eye because one of the adult birds attacked him near the nest.
more vlogs brah
Beautifully photographed and told

Super lovely video!
Awesome to see this journey and game of hide and seek, yes yes yes the Tawny owl is a master in camouflage, same goes out for some photographers😂 I’m almost entering my second winter season for wildlife photography. A passion which was evoked by looking for the Tawny owls myself. Although I have only had once descent moment to shoot them, it’s been a lovely journey for so far. Brooke you were and are my biggest example in this world of nature photography and wildlife. I’m glad to see that your laptop didn’t burn like my retina is doing way to often😂 thnx for uploading and sharing your adventures 🤞for having some more nice encounters 😀👍
Great video, well done

Good job young man
A masterclass in how to edit. Let alone the fact you shot all this and recorded the sound too. Proper good. Best thing I’ve watched in ages
Great stuff Brooke! Keep it coming! 👍
Thank you so much 😊
This is amazing footage and really well captured!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it
Lovely short docu with lots of detailed insights. I like it Brooke, It's amazing to see how these Tawny owls are mastering the art of camouflage and therfore I'm extra thankfull for all these things you share to give others a glimse behind the scenes and the leaves which are covering a magical world. Often these gems of nature are litterally hidden in plain sight. As you can see in minute: 1:25, the Tawny is completely blended into the trunk. I assume that most people who pass by won't notice the fact that there is a Tawny perching on it. Same goes out for you, you might look like a regular kid from the block but underneath that camouflage there is a huge hidden talent. Everytime when seeing you come up with something new I'm actually completely flabbergasted , and yes I've said this before but I see a small David Attenborough, ... so BBC if you read this.. read it twice and watch all the other movies. ... Keep on going like this! Jeroen
Lovely photography
Thank you so much!
I’m here because I heard the call tonight near my house and after a bit or research discovered it was a female tawny owl. Then I discovered another amazing find...your videos! :-)
Great video! Love the scenery there, so beautiful, Brooke! Thank you for sharing this! Blessings, Fran
