The N's are only on hire so they will not get repainted V/line have no intentions of selling the N's as far as I know

Using the hills as the back drop is one of the reasons why I love using this spot

This A class as the rest of the A classes have been retiered from active service and A66 has been overhauld and repainted and is now uesed on heritage runs mainly with 707 operations but it has been sent out on rescue missions. Steamrail Victoria and Seymour Rail Heritage Centre have also been given an A classwhich will eventally be restoered but none of the A's at this point will be used on frieght services

posibly is as a few Comeng's came from North Shore to Bendigo for scrapping

They use the 2 loco's on the transfers as it depends on what load the pick up to take back to Melbourne. In this case they picked up T381 to take back to Melbourne but it depends on what loco's and wagons that need servicing or repairs

Not this run It went to Mernda also depends on Steamrail and which line they organise to run the shuttles on with Metro trains

G'day Peter it's hard to say it depends on the day and what's running most of the time it's very early morning or late afternoon into the night I think it's later in the week most of the day runners run

Yes it is but 707 Operations have done a Y class in Tangarine and Grey but they had to get permission from V/line to do it but would be great to see more loco's done the same and I'd like to see A66 back in the Bicentenery Gren and Yellow

It depends on the grade they are on but mostly they keep pace with the lead loco or the lead loco will do most of the work

Yes it was atTottenham then transferfed to Geelong for storage then transfered to Bendigo to be scrapped

I love the art work on the trains, my friend paints trains & its very exciting watching there missions unfold i could only imagine how it feels painting them, 1 day once i get better at my sketches. I mean if they are goin to b scrapped mite aswel paint them 🙂

The P clas was only on the train to suply power to the train so it had to be conneted to the cars first. It was meant to be just the C class and P class and the C class being a freight only loco it dosen't have a generator to power the S cars so they put the P class on for that reason the T class was a last minute add on as ARTC failed to have a signaler on at Ararat and the C class is not allowed to run long end first which is why the T class was added to the train
