Solar eclipse scale model - Moon orbit vs Earth rotation 2017
มุมมอง 15K7 ปีที่แล้ว
Scaled model showing the full transit of the moon and it's shadow vs the rotation of the Earth for a 12 hour time period. As mentioned in the opening video on the spreadsheet. The light source is not to scale. As brought to my attention, midway through the demonstration I mention the moon has been moved 5 degrees when it has only been moved 0.5 degrees. This just a verbal slip up and does not e...

    What is this ? No explination of what it's trying to prove. Moon orbit vs earth orbit. WHAT ? both are said to be occuring in heliocentricitty. My guess from reading post is.... he's using the heliocentric model to prove the heliocentric model. They conjured up the maths before offering the model. This guy uses THEIR math to test it. Are you all so stupid to fall for this sht. Only a 2 year old falls for this sht. That's not proof. I don't think he could scale 95 million miles into that room and still be visable anyway. It more likely to take hundreds of miles to be visable. A real experiment proves the sun's size and distance first. This isn't possible. You all believe it is from bulsht geometry. You all were told this from early childhood so it's ingrained in you. " give me the child till he is 7 and i will give you the man " If flat earth was taught to you in its place as a child you would believe it as you do the magical spinning ball. A true scientific experiment must test the maths. But you can't. It's being propped up by Einstein's imaginary relativity. It's all in his head. No proof for any of it... NONE !! His peers agree with it. Still not proof. No real scientific proof exist for heliocentricitty. It's imaginary. He uses THEIR model to prove their model and you all think it's proof...🤣😂 humans are stupid beyond belief.

    This nonsense of showing a ball stuck on top of another smaller ball and trying to explain that the moon rotates 0.5 degrees and the earth rotates 15 degrees is absurd, because it is not the earth that rotates 15 degrees, but The Sun rotates by 15 degrees, which is exactly the same on a Flat Earth, only that instead of the Earth rotating, the Sun and the Moon rotate together in azimuth. The Sun rotates in 24 hours and the Moon rotates in 25 hours around the flat Earth in an azimuthal circle that corresponds to the same degrees as the globe!

But also, I can't wait for you to try to recreate the shadows left by the following eclipses visible in the U.S as well: 1558, 1562, 1578, 1632, 1780, 1834, 1878, 1932. Please, make those videos. For a model to work, it needs to explain the real life phenomenons perfectly and every single time. Just making a shadow move from west to east is not sufficient. Excellent recreation of an eclipse. I only found it because some hayseed flat-earther on FaceBook tried pulling the moon’s shadow “gotcha!” question on me,and babbled about wanting to see an actual experiment, so I dropped a link to your video into the forum. He ignored it of course, as expected, but at least others will get a chance to catch it. Again, really nice work with the precision and scale and all. The only way it could have been better is to have them both moving at the same time, but that would have required an assistant or a complex gear system synchronizing the two. But that would have been an excessive amount of work for a presentation like this.

The ratio used in this experiment was 10 : 1. This discrepancy will show the shadow of the moon moving incorrectly. Any thoughts?

    • @davidparker7308
      @davidparker7308 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the model is still representative because it is the angular size of the Sun that DelBoy was unable to model correctly at the chosen scale. Because he reduced the scale distance AND reduced the diameter of the light source by the same ratio, he retained the correct angular size. Yes, the Earth would have moved in it's orbit during the eclipse, but I believe the effect of this on the model to be insignificant. Any more thoughts?
