เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 ก.ย. 2012
My name is Mick. A drone hobbyist and keen Motorcyclist living in Middlesbrough, UK.
I started off with the Mavic Mini, a great little starter drone and well capable of capturing great footage.
Then upgraded to the Mavic Air2, also a very capable drone.
I currently use the Mavic 3 Classic, a beast of a drone. A fantastic flying camera.
Please subscribe to my channel as I intend to post video's of the local area regularly amongst others.

Motorcycle rideout North Yorkshire. 19th October 2024.
We met at Strikes Garden Centre in Stokesley for a couple of hours out on the motorcycles.
Michael Heaton was to lead us around the yorkshire dales taking in Helmesley, Carlton, Gillamoor, Low Mills, Rosedale Abbey, Danby, Commondale and Castleton.
We were out about 4 1/2 hrs and rode through heavy rain to begin with until that cleared to a warm cloudy day with the odd sunshine.
A grand day out.

Another update of construction going on at South Bank in Middlesbrough. SeAH wind buildings are going up fast. Filmed with the Mavic 3 Classic. I had a few high wind warnings but the drone coped well.

Eyemouth from the sky.

We had a drive up to Eyemouth today and a good walk around. I took the opportunity to fly the Mavic 3 Classic along the coast. Apart from the usual seagull attack it was a smooth flight. Thanks for watching.

I came across this video sitting in my hard drive and have decided to upload it. I had cobbled together a few clips from some of my flights over the old Steel works at Lackenby, Middlesbrough. It's a collection to show the demolition progress.
Deganwy marina. 15th June 2024.

I filmed the marina with the Mavic 3 Classic. Deganwy is on the A546, just off the A55 in North Wales. It lies in the Creuddyn Peninsula alongside Llandudno and Rhos-on-Sea. Often missed as you drive past the area.
Conwy castle. 15th June 2024

We were visiting Conwy during my 60th Birthday weekend away and it would have been rude not to fly around the Castle. I've tried to cut the video in time with the music beat but missed on a couple of occasions! It's a great place to fly.

Here is another update of the SeAH Wind monopile production factory construction at South Bank, Middlesbrough, UK. Filmed with the Mavic 3 Classic on a very windy day. I used digital zoom in some of the video this time to avoid flying too close to the structure. Recorded in 4k 30fps at normal profile. No colour editing at all in post. The sky was really that dramatic, it had just rained. Please...

This was a short test flight of the old Mavic Air. The two main features of the test flight are the hydraulic clock tower and the Transporter bridge. I set the camera to pro and adjusted the frame rate to get a nice rich look as the sun was setting. I need to work on the stick sensitivity settings to slow down the movement of the drone as i push the sticks. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoye...

Cor that's wet! Mine is staying in the garage for a bit 😂
I needed to get out this weekend. It did get better and the weather at the end of the ride was great
That does not appeal to me, lol. the weather looks awful , give me the football and tv any day
Lol, it was grim early on but it was worth getting out.
Excellent video
Thanks for watching, much appreciated
Great video 😁 loved the music too !
Thank you! 😁
Looking forward to start working there
Good luck buddy. Thanks for watching.
Great footage just subbed 413 😊😁👍
Thanks for the sub!
The scenery is truly stunning and awe-inspiring drone shots. Thank you for sharing💕✨
Thanks for watching
Nice update video Mick, that place is absolutely massive, I mean you can see it from the road, but once you’re in the air you can really see. When it’s all finished it will be interesting to see them loading onto ships.
Hi Andy Yeah that would be good to see.
Thanks for the new video! It's too bad they won't let you fly inside once they close it all in.
John I wouldn't want to fly through it lol. Have you been out filming lately, I enjoy your videos.
Amazing footage. I have been working on here fitting the crane rails outside
Thanks for watching, it's appreciated. Keep up the good work.
hopefully these projects will put teesside back on the map for future geraerations
Yes hopefully Malcolm. Onwards and upwards.
Mick this site is a huge boost for the area there will be quite a few jobs going once its up and running, great to see the update.👍👍.
Cheers Steve.
More steady progress since last time!
Mick we could have met up I was at the gare for 09:30 this morning, I'd have called over, I only just found out that they are making the towes for the turbines, always a great flight 👍👍😎
Yeah that would have been good Steve. Did you get any good footage?
Yes John Are you getting out much with your drone lately?
Yes, we had a very large, ominous-looking visitor in my neighborhood a few weeks back so I made a video of that. I've got footage for several more, but both need some editing in After Effects, which I haven't yet gotten good at, so getting them finished and published hasn't yet risen to the top of the priority list.
awesome shots mate well done liked it 👍
Thanks, much appreciated
Great aerial footage.
Cheers for watching Dan. Much appreciated.
no like music
Yeah it's not the best choice but good enough. What would you suggest?
Beautiful port town!
Yes John. It's just over the border into Scotland.
Wonderful aerial shots of this beautiful coastline and lovely town. Well chosen music track and nice soundstage. Great variation of flight moves and perspectives. Very nice video production, my dear friend. 🤘👌
Thank you for watching. Your comments are very much appreciated.
i worked on that plant in the 1970s for head wrightsons i made some good friends so sad to see it go with all the hard work that was done
Hi Philip, thanks for getting in touch. I worked at ICI Billingham. I've taken up the camera drone hobby and that demolition was happening just as I started.
That's a stunning looking castle well captured and edited 👍
Thanks so much. I enjoyed filming that one.
Hi Mick, I’m going to start work in there as a contractor in about a months time. If you want I would be happy to send you some photos from the ground on site in side the building?
Yes that would be great. Use my email address on the home page.
Fantastic footage and flying. Beautiful place. 👌 ❤
I really enjoyed flying there.
Nice Vid......i used to work there back in 1975 for a few years.....i was an Overhead Crane driver in the BOS Plant
Thanks for watching, much appreciated.
Looks historic. Anyone know hight off chimney
No sorry
The big iron lump left in what was the hearth is known as a 'bear' . Worked on the whole 5 mile site for 35 years. Enjoying my 15th year of retirement. Never looked back !
Well done mate. You put a good shift in
We called the solid iron core the salamander in the mid-west, if I remember right. It brings a tear to the eyes to see the death of these absolute beasts of industry. I can appreciate the look that it’s returning to the soil…
I think they should rebuild and make new updated steel mill to keep this country great again
The land will be used for new business I think.
Nicely done Mick 👍🏻 Such a huge plant that used to belch out flames like a dragon. I’ve been considering putting some of my steelworks footage together.
Go for it!
Really emotional! I used to carry out maintenance work on this site and the site at Redcar. Such a massive shame the UK government allowed this to happen without a 2nd thought. Amazing footage, thank you for keeping this alive
Thanks for watching. It's appreciated.
It's interesting, especially with the demo charges at the end, and knowing what it's turning into nowadays.
Yes it's good to look back on
So many different stages Mick, years of hard graft by so many gone in such a short time, nice collection for peoples memories. 👍👍.
Yes indeed
That took some time to get down didn't it. Wonder how many people worked there over the years. Nicely done
Thanks for watching
some expensive boats around there
Yeah, a few bob's worth I tell thee.
Wonderful aerial shots of this beautiful and impressive castle. I very much enjoyed the varied flight angles and nice smooth piloting. Well chosen perpectives and great video, my dear friend. 🤘👌
Thanks, much appreciated.
Brilliantly flown. I've ridden my motorcycle past that but never seen it from the sky. Nice one bud 👍
We were in the car this time but will certainly return on the bike, lovely roads. Thanks for watching.
Very scenic 👌
Great place Steve.
Lots of progress since your last flight. Once they finish closing it there won't be so much visible change, but it looks like they're going already on site prep alongside these structures, so we might see foundations being poured for more buildings soon.
Yes, I've not filmed it for 2 months. I'll keep to bi-monthly uploads unless I see any significant changes.
The size of that place is absolutely incredible. One helluva contract for that construction firm. Great video again.
Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.
Mick it's getting bigger each time you capture footage of the site, you're going to need a bigger way point mission, thanks for the update Mick.👍👍
Cheers Steve, I flew this one freehand.
"Thank you for sharing this beautiful content. Everything is so lovely. Thank you for your diverse work."
Thanks for watching. Much appreciated.
How lucky are you Mick been able to get out there and do a trip like this, i wish i was twenty years younger i would have loved to be out there on a bike.👍👍.
It was hard work some days Steve. Having to munch the miles to get to Austria but once there it's stunning mate.
Birilliant Mick what a great trip that must have been for you, and to be able to captuer Hitlers Eagles Nest what a find, just brilliant Mick. 👏👏👍.
Yes it was a good trip Steve. I'll stay longer next time we go.
Enjoyed watching this Mick, the scenery really does take your breath away. I should imagine going on bikes makes it a lot easier just to pull over whenever you fancy too. Thanks for sharing 👏🏻👍🏻
Andy, yes it's easier to just pull over when you want. You're right, the scenery does take your breath away. I wish I'd had room for the M3C but just not enough room with all the luggage we needed for 2 up.
Great scenery and ride bud, love it.
The GTR1400 didn't miss a beat. Not bad for a 13yr old bike.
Beautiful scenery !!! My wife and I were there about twenty years ago. Thank you for the video 👏👏👏👏👍😊
We were last there about 10 years ago and thought it was time to go back. It's stunning.
If Britain had not been a member of the EU this would not have happened. They said the government could not bail them out as they had no shares in the company.
Onwards and upwards.
Who wouldn’t want a mountain retreat with a view like that, stunning and what a place to fly a drone. I’m jealous of you Mick 🙂👍🏻
Andy, it was a great trip. I wish I'd taken the Mavic 3 Classic but I only had room for the Air1
Beuatifully flown Mick - what a super place to visit.
It was fantastic mate. One of the best historical places I've visited.
Stunning place, sometime else I sub to had a motorcycle trip there recently. Nice flying 👍
Thanks 👍
Very interesting! I've never seen it before.
Hi John, a great place to visit
Awesome 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
