Not really a shock if you were truly into the nu metal scene back then. I'd escape the east coast & bail out to California just to go see it happening. I never needed an ID for bars because I already & always knew how to act in bars. I wasn't comfortable in one unless I was there just for the music alone too. Just really wasn't my thing unless I was just going to hear the music.
