This isn’t the answer you are looking for I know…. But I couldn’t imagine having to pick one or the other. The analog stereo delay on the matriarch is so rich and I have been mainly using the matriarch for basses lately and it crushes the muse in that front for me personally. If I had to pick just one I would pick the muse, but i definitely don’t think the muse replaces the matriarch by any means they are both special in their own ways and I don’t see myself ever parting with either.

Both sound and feature differences I would say these synths are very different but they share the warm analog moog sound for sure

@@coldbrewbeatsI’m debating between both. And from first impression, it seems that the Muse does everything the Matriarch does (of course expect not being paraphonic). What would you say the matriarch offers that the muse doesn’t?

@@How2hitpersonally A/Bing both synths, the basses on matriarch hit wayyyy harder than the muse imo. But I prefer the muse for all the main melody stuff. But yeah the basses on the matriarch slap so much harder, I’m sure the grandmother would too but I don’t have one so I can’t say. The bass on the muse is good, but it just doesn’t feel as deep and rich to me as the matriarch.

the sequencer has a probability function, so it changes notes randomly and never repeats the same sequence twice when you enable that function.

it was packed with padded inserts after the 2nd box. So far I absolutely love this machine, and I am not paid to say that. Just like all instruments though you will need to EQ/Compress and polish up recordings in your daw which is to be expected. Sounds incredible even with no post effects though. Only con for me is the delay, I wish it had the stereo delay that comes with the matriarch instead of a digital delay but aside from that it's gravy.

no one has ever died from smoking tree, but I agree that edibles are better for your health overall. Eating sweet potato is better than fries but I'm still going to eat fries every now and then.

@@GGprods-o2x because I make music for a living and like to have fun when I’m making it :) also it’s worth noting that this project is something I created 3 years ago, my unreleased stuff is much more refined…. As one would hope haha Always getting better and improving my craft. If soft instrumental music isn’t your thing you probably won’t like my creations appreciate you tuning in regardless of your bitter comment 🫡

@@coldbrewbeats I did not realize it was mono out. I want to try using a mono splitter then send it through the Microcosm, Meraki delay, Strymon Big Sky, or a combo of all 3. I bought the Erica Synths Matrix Mixer so I could route anything to anything.

Once you engage a probability drive anything can happen, really. The question is - at what point did you feel like a sofa?

@@RJ1J no, it is running a sequence using the probability settings through a microcosm. It infinitely generates new sequences. I had it running for two hours and this was my favorite 20 minutes of it filmed live.

That might have not been clear sorry. The probability settings are in the muse. But the outputs are ran to a microcosm, then into my mixer, than to Ableton.
