You're probably seeing the Blood Guard character effect that I have equipped. Other possibilities could be the Ritual weapon effect or Stygian herald effect since those are also red, but they aren't specifically lines like the Blood Guard is.

Thanks for the feedback! You will drop a ton of level 1 gems with quality, I actually hid them on my filter. Based on my experience, you should get a level 21 gem at least once every 3 maps you run. Make sure you're only running maps with 3 or 4 good lantern mods and then use the gemling allflames on each mob type with normal pack density and above. Clear the map first, getting all eater altars and then go back and get all of the strongboxes. You'll get a level 21 in no time.

Yep, it’s the dotted line. Make sure your two maps are directly connected to each other by a dotted line and you’re good.

What would you suggest? We can swap out the hunted traitors scarab for a certain mechanic along with selecting that same mechanic on the map device and atlas tree. The problem here is most mechanics don't feel very good unless you fully invest and we are only able to somewhat halfway invest. These mechanics will also take up extra time in the map, making my <2min map take longer to run through.

@@ChaosChallenged Altar (eater or exarch whatever you prefer) + domination + just the ritual chance nodes. Dont run rituals, click the shrines if you want but they likely will speed you up. The point is these are just adding more mobs and dont add any time to do their mechanics. used standard cartography scarab setup (carto x2 + dup + 8mod) Map device = domination. I ran about 200 b2b maps (yes, admittedly small sample size) vs. 500 maps of this strat with with eater altars, clicking quant every time unless I got a divine altar or grand ichors. Clear time was 1 min 20 for b2b, 1 min 40 for this strat. I got close to 3 times as many maps however.

The only other thing I would add to this conversation (just picked up this strategy a few days ago) is the alters have a lot of map dup chances as well as the quant, so I like to run the scarabs Pastrami mentioned and noticed extra content like Breach and Harvest dropped a decent amount of maps as well. And an extra layer on that is because of all of the quant we’re running and alters clicked, I’ve come out of Harvest with 3k lifeforce with no atlas points besides the one in the quant wheel to not wilt/t4. The goal is just more mobs to boost the map chance/dup chance. I only have 50 maps as a sample size, but it’s clearly working based on my results which was 17div/hour - but there is possibly a better way lol.

This isn't a conqueror map farm, it's just for regular T16 8-mod maps. We do have a node on the atlas "Conquered Conquerors" which gives map bosses a 100% increased chance to drop a conqueror map. The default chance is 2%, so with the node, you have a 4% chance for the map boss to drop a conqueror map. It is nice when they drop, but I wouldn't count on it to happen often.

I haven't used the duplicating scarab much, so I can't speak from personal experience. Some quick math would suggest they are about equal, and with the normal carto scarab being cheaper, I'm happy with choosing it over the dupe scarab. POE is extremely complicated and my formula below is just a rough generalization, so take it with a grain of salt. Quick maths: - Let's say for simplicity sake, monsters have a 10% chance to drop a map. - 2 Carto scarabs would be 100% increased map drops making the monsters now have a 20% map drop rate - 1 Carto and 1 dupe scarab would mean the monsters have a 15% map drop chance and then another 30 percent chance for that map to dupe, making it effectively 15*1.3 = 19.5%

let say each map you drop M number of map from all monsters. Then the formula for 2x carto would be: * [M + 1M(2xcarto) + M(100% quant)] * 1.4 (40% packsize) = 4.2M Then if you use dup scarab: * [M + 0.5M(1x carto) + M(100% quant)] * 1.4(40% packsize) *1.3(30% dup)= 4.55M not much different right? but if you add the exact packsize and quant on map with B2B, it would be like this: *dup: (1+0.5+2)*1.5*1.3 = 6.825 *2x cart: (1+1+2)*1.5 = 6 these number above is 200% quant and 50% pack, which is below the average of B2B 8 mod map. The more quant and pack you have, the better the dup scarab is

It is kinda worth noting that just doing that without having your target map(s) favoured and the right atlas passives will result in much fewer desirable 8mod drops, so the explanation of the tree was warranted. The map showcase was whatever, but some people will just write you off if you don't have one so better to have it than not.

I appreciate the feedback! I get that there might be a quicker way to explain strategies. I can only assume you're a fairly knowledgeable player, but not everyone else is. I would rather explain too much than not enough so that newer players are able to get something valuable out of the video as well.

Eater altars have the chance to drop divines while exarch has a chance to drop chaos. The problem with eater is you might not see that divine altar all league because it is so rare. Exarch is typically what people run for bubblegum currencies while eater altars are typically used for magic finding because of the huge player quantity you can get. Both altars have an exclusive set of altars mods so I would suggest looking at each in order to determine what is best for you.if you want raw value, exarch is typically the winner.

Good to know! Deli is pretty hard on my computer, so that's the main reason I'm avoiding it, but if your pc and build can handle it, I would definitely recommend adding deli for sure

Fair enough! I had recorded this last week when prices were still a little more normal. Although the value of divines is dropping, this is still a good strategy with a low cost of entry, which is all I want to advertise it as!

Filterblade Uber Strict as the base filter. Hide all splinters (and emblems if you want). Hide all boss specific unique drops. Hide all incubators other than ornate and maybe 1 or 2 others you like. If you run a similar setup, most of your loot will probably be from raw chaos/divines, T17 maps, fortuante cards, and Exarch invitations/embers.

Hello! That doesn't sound too bad. The atlas tree I'm using has a ton of spare points (I'm lazy and still have to do invitations and several unique maps). Throwing those extra points into things like increased deli orb drops and additional reward types should provide a nice boost for sure.

Yeah people get confused and say the strategy is not good because emblems are worthless, but you're not doing this farm for emblems. You get so many other consistently good drops that emblems being low value doesn't really matter. You also get a ton of xp doing this so you could easily squeeze a lot more div/hour by leveling gems in off-hand.
