      @jakewatts I definitely need to tap into that soon. I've noticed they also do a couple of series on TH-cam - Pilates for runners and Mobility for runners. The latter I definitely need to do!

    I found jelly beans very helpful when I was running longer distances - easy to carry and don’t go mushy. I found gel pouches good too although the texture takes some getting used to.

      thanks for the tip ❤. I've felt a bit drained this week so I've bought some High 5 and Purendure pouches (gluten and caffeine-free - because problems 😁), so will give them a go at the weekend. And I'm going to slowly introduce some more solids so jelly beans sounds like a great idea 🤗

    As a plant based runner I lower fibre the day before the run normally half marathon or full marathon but I don’t lower my standards when it comes to gels as I am caffeine free I use purendure banana/dates or mango&dates. It takes 15minutes to register it so you don’t shock your body. You sound like you have a plan so good luck !

      Do you find plant based better nutritionally as well? I’ve not used gels in such a long time - previously I used bounce balls but struggled to eat and run with those. Even though I am not plant based I do look at the plant based/vegan options for running as they also tend to be gluten free (you probably already knew that). I also have to be caffeine free (Drs orders) so that brand sounds perfect 👌 - thanks for the tip. I’ve done one day of the Runna plan so far, next one is tomorrow 🙌

      Thank you for your reply.Nutritionally plants give me the means to run. Lentils, beans & lagoons do drive me. I consume lots of organically grown oats. I cook most of things I eat. The gels aligned as most have caffeine in them. Understand the calorie Density of food to help your natural weight. Good luck on your journey
