Thanks Biblio, it's a good day when even a beginner bike looks good! I get waves from guys one bikes 5x as much. Feels good to be apart of the community. All well here, the weather is actually cooling down by a few degree, I almost forget what it feels like.

@thomasmoustache1 The weather here (in Oklahoma) is still very hot, 95-104 °F daily for the past weeks. Also, if you get in the mood, you should do more videos on your poetry book collection. I'm glad to hear all is well for you. Hope you have a great night, my friend 🙏

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it, I am going to try and do more regular readings. I think that is something I can do a lot of! And yes, getting to the deadline before I consider a new option for my own poetry. I generally give publishers a few months to consider before I try something new.

I think it is good to have something to look forward too. I remember a TH-cam years ago, I used to get a nice sweet drink nice and chilled and ready to watch his video. It was a bit of a ritual. Unfortunately, TH-camrs change, and I don't watch him anymore. But I always enjoyed the memories of that feeling, looking forward to a video. I'm glad you feel that way too! I've got a fair amount of videos still to come! I've been working hard to record, and have maybe 7 videos already recorded.

No, haha and it can be tough to gauge, because I use a rich variety of units of measurement... except Fahrenheit. Although as I grow older I do admire the Fahrenheit unit. It is incredibly precise.

Yep got the original bread pillow, and also a cheesy bread pillow (somewhere). It is pretty good, but better as a decoration.

I generally do 1 pass, the humidity I find plays trouble with my skin if I try to get any closer. Everything goes wrong on the re-grow. Derby does get a lot of attention I find on the internet, both love and hate. But it gets the job done for sure, and I've nothing to complain about the results.

Great to have you here. I think for females, a clay or a cream pomade would be best. They tend to give great volume and give a dry look. I think women want to avoid the greased look, especially since many of their styles tend to have a powdered dry appearance, which shows off the colours in a gentle way (if they dyed their hair). But if one cannot get them, then best to avoid pomades with a high shine. At least that is what I gather from modern styles I see women having.

@thomasmoustache1 publishing is a very personal endeavor. But, I would really consider and even look into self-publishing, unless you're really want to have a certain publishing house name tied to your work, which I completely understand.

Hey that is awesome! It is a huge step in the right direction. Once you start sending it out, submitting your collection. Just don't feel discouraged if you don't get any bites right away. Seems like poetry is really coming back hard, so the number of submissions they get are pretty high and they don't have as much time to review them. Keep on going! Keep writing! Feels good to hear you are working hard on it. I am happy to hear that. These months you've been working hard! And yes, I know it has been a while, I've been traveling, but it has sort of taken it out of me a bit. Travel is busier than work haha. I am growing my hair and will soon be ready to do some pomade videos. I'm in the mood for some slick hair.

@@bibliomania158 I know a lot of publishers won't take self published works. But in this day and age, a person would go old and grey waiting for a publishing house to publish their work. Hey Thomas, sorry for such a delayed reply. First, I hope you are doing well. I just self-published ( a few days ago), my first book , or collection of poetry. Honestly, it's a bit difficult to do, I ended up using a website called Lulu. I have tried to do many things in life, but at least for me, I find that I just have to take the initiative and do things myself. I wanted to go the route as every other author, contact a publisher, etc... but, honestly, I am very glad and satisfied with doing it all myself. I hope to see a video from you soon. 👍

@@bibliomania158 That is really great news! I have heard of Lulu. I am not sure much about them compared to others, but it is good you got it done. Publishing is a big step. And it should only be easier after publishing your first collection. Now you know how it works, so it should be easier I mean. I've been on a little hiking trip, but back now. It was very hot, but not too bad compared to a couple weeks ago. I am going to do a video I think for some pomade. Hope to do that soon.

Yuppie Mat is a more gel like pomade, so it is much easier to apply. Less pulling on the hairs to get it into place. Even then, it is better to give your hair a rest from time to time.

How did this comment slip past me. That is a good idea. I've thought about expanding the video series. Especially in music. I think there are some very memorable mustaches in the music industry right now too.

I regret to tell you, I believe it has been unavailable for about a year. Have you contacted them about it? That is what I like the most about Captain Fawcett, they put a lot of effort into the presentation which I am greatly impressed by.

Thank you! I know not everybody thinks my lifestyle is the most exciting, but I love my books and my poetry. Art is the ultimate expression. Most people are art-lovers but do not think they are (because music is just music to them) but music is art. Art should be the central passion for all people, to create it, and enjoy it. Buildings and parks are installation art, music is audio art, painting is visual art, poetry is spoken art. Then we can see the parallels in nature, the wild places are installation art, the call of birds is audio art, the sky is visual art, and our description of its majesty is spoken art. So thank you for being apart of the channel, I am sorry the audio is not great. It is a big and empty room.

@thomasmoustache1 I have written a few poems before, nothing that I share, really. They are just for me. I'm not looking to become a published author or poet or anything. My full-time job keeps me pretty busy, I just like to write poetry for myself whenever I feel inspired to write.

@@bibliomania158 I think if you have never read a poetry collection before, I would recommend first to study the movements and schools of modern poetry (from about 1500 to present). Such as Metaphysical, Romanticism, Imagists, modernists, and confessional. I think the study of these movements will help give an understanding of the rules of poetry, and also who broke the rules, and how they broke the rules. The closer you get to the 1900's the wider you should spread out your poetic net, because it gets to the point where you will be reading four or five poets who lived at the exact same time in the same place, and you will learn how they interacted and influenced each other. Once you get to the current era of poetry, then I recommend you to pick the movements that interest you the most, because at this time you will have a firm knowledge of poetry and its forms, and you will be able to study and master a single style that speaks to your heart the most. These poets you read will influence you, inspire you, and give you encouragement through their own lives you read in their poetry. You will enter fellowship with the poets. My next video comes out tomorrow (I thought it was today) but I have some more contemporary poets in the next video. Hope that helps!

@@thomasmoustache1 Hello, my friend! I'm sorry I've been kind of silent lately........I had emergency open heart surgery almost two months ago (they found an aneurysm on my aortic valve). The surgery was a success, I have a new, healthy soft tissue valve, and everything is great, although recovery has been slow. I'm very happy to see a new video from you, my friend!

@@crazyjzombie Wow that is very significant! Hopefully you are able to recover well. That really does sound like a very troubling thing to discover. I am so glad you are doing better now, I was thinking you must have been sheltering from the heat these months like me, but that is quite different. I am glad to have you here, healthy again with us. Next week I've got another video, hopefully it is to your liking, although with heart surgery, the doctors might say next weeks video is not acceptable.

Crazy J! I was just thinking about you my friend. I have been working non-stop on my poetry for a fair number of months, and it has certainly consumed me! But in a way it is a good thing. How are you doing these days? I was a fool and tried trimming my own hair a bit at the back and messed it up so I had to buzz it all off.

I'm sorry you messed up your hair! I don't have that problem because I shave my head bald using the Pitbull Electric Skull Shaver! How's the moustache? Are you now sporting a pencil moustache? A handlebar moustache? Mine currently most closely resembles Henry Cavill's moustache (albeit mine extends a little longer) in Mission Impossible - Fallout. We all look forward to your next video! Maybe a video combining your moustache AND poetry LOL!

@@crazyjzombie I've got 3 videos for the next 3 weeks! Should be good, and talks about what's going to be happening for the future of the channel. More general content. I use a pretty cheap buzzer, 20 USD I think. Really bad, battery last 5 minutes, but it does the job for now. Dang, a Henry Cavill moustache, I think he might have one of the best mustaches in the world. Something about it is just perfect.

Sorry for the late reply, I was going to reply the day you commented but that was the day I stupidly tried trimming my own hair and caused a terrible mess of it, that I had to buzz it all off. But I am growing my moustache out to compensate for my lack of hair, at least then I have something.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. I rotate the razor, one side of the blade edge for each side of my face. But it is also because I switch hands to shave each side of my face. depending on how long my hair is, if my hair is too long I wipe it on a cloth, but if my hair is short I rinse it. At the end of the shave I rinse the razor and blade before storing them.

My friend, the pencil moustache is stronger now than it has been in the last 30 years. I'm getting compliments left right and centre that I never got with any other style.

Ooops... just checked. They have an eau de parfum. Ordered!

@@garssympa500 I have a review of the Eau de Perfume as well on my channel. There are some subtle differences, but I think it is just as good in parfum form. I really enjoy it and wear it on special occasions. I've gotten a lot of love over Maharajah, more than any other scent I would say!

I crack myself up sometimes. No shame I like to watch my own videos haha.

Everything is great, actually I filmed a video yesterday and will upload this weekend. A shaving video, I think it will be a hit with the subscribers, as I take a lot of scruff off. Nothing better than shaving off a lot of hair!

Yes sir, I do recall now! It is almost November again, I think I will do another vote on what moustache style I should go with. I was telling another subscriber, my time with the pencil was great! I love the style. Handlebar, I think I would need some heavy duty wax, my hairs just don't want to follow orders, and generally just lie down at best.

I'm glad you found it helpful! I am huge into the CF lineup, mainly because they smell so good. Triumphant I think smells the most like a 'cologne' but I think in terms of scent profile, I prefer most others. Barberism and Booze'n'Baccy are good all around scents. Debonair is gentle, and soft.
