I was actually referencing Hellkite Tyrant (which is also win with 20 artifacts), but yeah it was just an example, there are a few different alternate wincons of that type as illustrated! Definitely using Revel in Riches in a few deck designs, and Mechanized Production in at least one as well, though I'm not much of a blue player lol

So, with spree the effects resolve independently in the order they are listed on the card This means the creature loses all current abilities including indestructible if you choose that until end of turn Then the gives indestructible effect resolves if selected and takes precedence over the loses all abilities effect because it is an ability that wasn't present at the time the loses all abilities triggered For it to prevent that, the loses abilities effect would also need to specify something like "and can not gain any abilities until end of turn" Disclaimer: I am not a judge, just a veteran player that hangs out with a few judges

Oh also you can 100% choose any combination of abilities with spree, as long as you select at least 1 and don't choose the same one more than once So you could totally select loses all abilities and destroy all creatures, but skip gives indestructible Or you could give indestructible and destroy all creatures but not wipe all abilities Or you could just use it as a vanilla board wipe Etc etc

@riple0 aww, yeah, it is a great little game and the emotions are part of the value but it can also be pretty rough and you should make sure you are in a good place for it emotionally! Honestly I really struggled to keep it together during that game cause my own orange kitty was very sick and on my lap for a good portion of the game, that was pretty much our last game together 😿

Proper immortal fish head beating is key to a good soup! Yeah, the soup thing can get kinda chaotic, but it's not dangerous, and it gives nice loot, just a nice interlude with some rest and comedy along your adventures!

I guess it is a little bit like that in that there is just SO MUCH to keep track of and any tiny error will usually wipe the entire 10+ person group, so everyone really needs to do their part, be perfectly coordinated, and gnerally have all their gear and stats set up just perfect on top of using costly consumable boosts!

@riple0 yeah, a lot of the difficulty comes from the way the odds of at least one person screwing up on a given attempt increase exponentially with each additional person you add... and some of the raids are 25 or even 40 person!

@riple0 also the fact that you have to track not only what is happening now, but what is happening soon, because if you don't know the boss is about to cast the huge aoe that you can't survive without a personal defensive cooldown ability you are toast... just as an easy to understand example x3

Wow, I learned something new today myself... I have never seen a Sonic Spinball cartridge so I always thought it was a Genesis exclusive, but apparently it was indeed ported to game gear?! The crazy battery drain was a result of it literally having a small portable CRT TV for the screen (a tv tuner was one of the actual accessories) which ate a ton more power than a dot matrix or LCD display... but at the time it was the only way they could get it in color (and looking a lot nicer visually). By comparison the Game Boy Color released a full 8 years later in 1998 and supported only 56 max simultaneous colors!

Haha, thanks so much! I have been playing WoW on and off since launch day some like 20 years ago now? Geeze dating myself here! Point being just that it is a lot of acquired skill over time and muscle memory! If it helps, although there have been times in the past where I was a top level player, the skill level you are seeing in what I have recorded is probably best described as "poor, but not dismal" since I am trying to shake the rust off, adapt to a lot of changes to the game (like total class overhauls for all their skills and talents), a UI overhaul, deal with a lot of the UI add ons I am used to being broken, haven't kept up on my reading/research, and in a lot of cases am also learning content that is new to me simultaneously on the fly! So compared to top players who play consistently I would probably be ridiculed mercilessly, but given all my handicaps I am probably doing better than the average 75% or more of players would? I know WoW is really kinda niche in that its pretty hard to follow as a non-player, but I am super glad you are still finding it interesting and entertaining despite that! I know the level of focus the game takes does tend to leave me talking less 😹

@@YukikazeGaming WOW (or should I say WoW :p) thank you for such a detailed response! I also appreciate your modesty because you could have fooled me that you are currently a consistent top player! I am honestly even MORE surprised with how technical it is. I'm under the impression that to be at the top you kinda have to dedicate your life you this? I mean, now that I say that I guess that's kind of how one becomes the top at anything really. I guess what I'm noticing is that this just seems so much more involved and complex than other skills one could focus on? I am glad you can still have fun with it even though you have to sort of just figure out all this new stuff all the time! I usually try to do that with games by just focusing on having fun and less about being the best (although I do get frustrated with myself if I'm trying to practice to get better XD). That's also because I don't think I currently have the mental fortitude to even attempt to be "the best" or work toward the top lol. Like when I dive into what people do to get where they are I'm like "oh.....oh yeah I severely underestimated what I thought I needed to do. Whoops!"

@riple0 you're welcome! I try to stay objective and err on humble (unless it's just for the humor lol). Yeah people at the very top definitely dedicate their life to this, usually 80% or more of their waking life with strict raid schedules... whole spreadsheets and simulators go into the theorycrafting alone for things like what the best gear is or the optimal talent build! For me, it isn't that uncommon for me to make it into the top 1% of players in a game from sheer hyperfixation when I am enjoying myself and have the time (in WoW I have been top 10 for my class on my server a few times in the past), but since it's not an income source and I have other things to pursue I eventually drop the game when I feel I have met whatever arbitrary mastery goals I set for myself!

@riple0 really though I am just doing the same thing as you, jumping in and having fun with it till I don't anymore... but when I run up against a wall I usually take that as a challenge to see if I can overcome it, so I do some reading/research and/or practicing till I either get it or decide the challenge just isn't worth the time and energy investment 😸

@riple0 also, just for context the raids I am doing here are on the lowest difficulty level (raid finder aka LFR) thats meant for basically everyone to be able to clear them even as fairly casual players... Above that are more modes of sharply increasing difficulty that often add new mechanics to the fights as well: Normal, Heroic, and Mythic So yeah I am objectively not doing very high level play here 😹
