@@bouncingnoise So, I already have some good ideas on how to adjust them to the CF wheels. Gonna see if I can go like 1 or 1,5mm narrower and gain some hight. 115 or 115,5 mm, that's the aim.

@@Team_ReVolt After measuring ours, I was wondering about the 113mm too🤔, but I think your plan could work. Would be nice to see some worn in squid’s, it might show if those are a perfect fit or not…could be a question for Mr.C😊

@@NTX_RC Re⚡Volt was my nickname whilst being a gamer over 30 years ago. Now I use it as the name to build RC Crawler stuff. Like inserts, chassis rails, 3D printed things (sliders, skidplates,...).

@@bouncingnoise thanks😍 Not this one. This is my version off something between a vrd and a 10 pro. The revolt chassis is way more capable. But the CF rails arrived to late to rebuild my aluminum version and take it with me😪 Plus I need a kid here to film so you can proper see how bad these boulders are 😁

Your skid forward rails look interesting

A downside of the VRD are the missing opportunities for more laid down shocks in the front. That’s the only thing I realized so far

@@ValleyCrawlers I have one running in a rig. No complaints at all. It uses a different programmer than the V40/V80, altough it's the same program on the PC. Very happy with it.

@@ValleyCrawlers mine did not work with the ones that come with the V80. So I bought one specific for it.

I hope that the Tusk will meet the Fusk in your series. If al goes well, the Tusk will beat the Fusk but with a narrow margin. I have to say, my inserts take those Fusks to a new level! I'll end up buying a set of JC Tusk eventually 😅
