When the tour guides tell everyone they are looking at the actual sets from some of the classic movies filmed on the back lot over the years, I laugh. See, there have been several fires on the Universal back lot over the years, and I was at Universal with my date watching a movie at City Walk when the theater filled with smoke. It was November 6, 1990 and it was my birthday. The theater was evacuated as the fire was out of control and it seemed the fire might come up the hill. That night the entire back lot burned down along with all those original sets. Another fire in 2008 also burned a good portion of the lot. So, when you are told these are the actual sets... they aren't. They're reconstructions of the originals. Also, I never got my money back for the movie we didn't get to finish watching.

Very good brought back the memories changed a bit from when I went 30 years ago.

Did you get to see Partridge family House lethal weapon house Christmas vacation House did you get to see the pool that they put a YMCA around it after the pool was build and then take it down do you know if they still have that piece that goes around the pool does it go can it be put up any time and then taken down after the cast and can it be used for other things like a hotel swimming pool and do you know if they allow people to use that swimming pool like the actors and the visitors if they're not doing the cast in the area
